GaltToys, Mega Marble Run, Construction Toy, (Model: 1004054)

This marble run is sturdy on carpet and fairly easy for parents to install. Well made and so much fun for kids and adults.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson. Even though there are no instructions included you can build off the picture on the box if you need help. Once you figure out how each piece works, assembly is a piece of cake. I did put it together before my grandson got here and he had a blast playing with it. He was so excited he accidently knocked part of it over, but was thrilled to see how easy it was to put back together. In a few days I will take it down and then together we will make a different arrangement. I do plan on buying an add on set. Even my husband had a blast playing with his grandson. I rank this as one of the best toys ever. I would never EVER glue the pieces together. That would make it impossible to take down and create something new. What makes this toy so great is that putting it together requires learning how each part works and creativity ... along with the joy of watching all those crazy marbles running down the maze at once. We had one paddle wheel unable to turn so I swapped it the other one and both work perfectly. I would give this 10 stars if I could !!!

I looked at many marble runs on Amazon before deciding on the Mega marble run by Galt. The videos sold me - the runs looked smooth and the plastic looked thick and sturdy. This set did not disappoint. My 5 yr old son plays with it for hours at a time - creating new courses and sending all the marbles down over and over again. The marbles run smooth and with adequate support and the pieces stay together. We have even made runs taller than him without them crashing down. It comes with a booklet with a few sample runs, but you really don't need it. My son just builds his own and it is not at all frustrating or difficult. I hope Galt comes out with some expansion packs because we would love to add more interesting pieces to the set but all the smaller sets contain mostly the same pieces ( just less of them). This set contains 20 glass marbles, a 5/8 inch marble which can be easily found on Amazon should you need to replace them. Only issue I had with this set is that the prong things for the funnels fall off very easily and have to be placed in a certain way because of the shape of the funnel. You may need to help your little one with those. Otherwise, nothing but fun!

Other reviews are right, in that there are no instructions, but thats part of the fun of it - building your own setup. Solid construction of the pieces that can withstand a 5 year olds jamming them together... can't wait to give this to my son for birthday and see his mind race with ideas... he's always loved building blocks and the wooden trains and building tracks, so this will be an added treat...

Gift for my grandson, He loves it. Much better quality than the smaller marble sets that do not even have real marbles. Bought the multi- colored set and the blue set but returned them both, poorly made. This set is a little more pricey but worth it. I have now bought a set for my granddaughter.

Great toy! We have an older set from Galt which we also really liked. The new version is better: It has bigger vortex bowls which are totally awesome, a two-way chute with a piece to make marbles alternate (you have to carefully level the old two-way shoot to get it to work right), and bases (feet) that (unlike the original) are not incredibly hard to get the marbles out of. There are only two down sides: First, the new pieces don't fit perfectly with the old ones. (They can be connected, it works, but the connections are either a bit too tight or too loose) Second, the new version is less colorful than the old one, which had green pieces as well.

Ive researched for a marble run which I thought maybe durable and easy to put together as my 3 year old daughter has always watched these stuffs via youtube. Ive read the negative comments for Galt Marble Run but still decided to purchase one since the positive review videos speaks for itself.The packaging is great, stuffs came in protected. Also I am currently in Qatar (middle east) and still the package came really fast which is within a week to my surprise =)To those who say its unstable/wobbly etc. You just need to learn how to put it together in balance which isn't that hard. I actually didn't use the leaflet that came with the package when my little one and I first made our first marble run structure, I just tried to put them together just like a lego and it worked well. Now she's enjoying and so does my wife and myself included =)The marbles that came in are a bit smaller than the regular ones but im definite that regular sized marbles will fit too. I had to add a few $ for the shipping fee upon checkout which is not what is in the ad =(still ill give it 5/5 stars as our daughter really enjoyed it well. in face she woke up early and went straight to playing again!P.S. Wanted to add an extra set when I was trying to purchase but the shipping fee went double too. was hoping you could consolidate to lower the shipping fee perhaps? If so, will purchase another one to expand our marble run structure. Thanks!

This is a great toy once put together (if it stays together long enough), it's loads of fun. The problem is, getting it together. There are no guideline instructions included, only the picture on the box and the color pieces included are not completely the same as the picture. I can accept the issue there are not instructions, as problem solving is something I like to teach my children. Yet the pieces do not stay together well, at all. It easily falls apart. It's very frustrating especially once it's finally put together and ready for the marbles and it tears apart with the slightest touch. Unless you have a very patient child, I'd avoid this toy.

Good quality and easy to use, my son (and the rest of us!) has been playing with this since he turned 4. He loves building his own (admittedly simple) designs, and likes me to build the really complex ones in the instructions. Would definitely recommend this toy - great value for money.

OK, so I knew this was going to be a hit with the kids because I had one as a child and it's just a brilliant concept and endless fun. I did wonder which set to buy, as the Mega one isn't cheap, but in the end I went with it and it is *so* worth it. There are a ton of excellent additions and noveelties (like *three* circular plates where the marbles roll in circles for ages!) but there are also loads of the old favourites AND lots of simple cylindrical support pieces, so you can make these huge creations and, crucially, keep them stable, with the marbles rolling the right way! They've really got the balance right on this, so you can make towers that use almost every piece and keep adding to them. I mean, er, the kids can, obviously, not me. *cough*This is a fantastic toy which all kids love, basically, and the Mega version, if you can stretch to it, is really worth every penny. In case you were wondering, you get decent-sized bag of about 20-25 marbles included, which is great.I have to also give a huge shout-out to this seller. I ordered the toy with about a week to spare (it was a joint present and I didn't know budget until last minute) and Amazon did its usual 'we absolutely commit to delivering this within the next six months!' schtick. (I mean, there's managing expectations, but Amazon's delivery estimates really are a tragic and unfunny joke). I begged the seller to speed things up so it would arrive in time and they put it in the post within 8 hours - this was an evening order - and gave me a tracking number so I could agonise over it. And it arrived on time! Thank you SO much for that, Plustoys! You're absolute stars.

Wir haben die Bahn für unseren Kleinsten gekauft und sind begeistert. Die Passgenauigkeit ist hoch, es lassen sich mit dem Mega-Set viele Varianten an Bahnen realisieren. Die Kugeln laufen sauber durch, nur selten mal ein Klemmen. Da macht das Mitspielen auch für Erwachsene Spaß.

Notre fils de 4 ans aime beaucoup joué avec ce jeu.Ses cousins s'adonnent facilement au jeu avec lui.Le montage peut être un peu complique à 4 ans, il est nécessaire de l'accompagner.
