Ive not had the opportunity to wear it aside from trying it on. I like that it’s not overly bulky, not heavy at all, can smoosh it up for packing and it unfolds beautifully to wear in colder climates. The interior reflective material is the key in keeping you toasty while the exterior shell will repel rain/snow. It has a great length on my 5’ frame, down past my thighs in case heavy downpour I’ll stay dry. It does have a hood & thumbholes in the sleeves. It’s comfortable, it’s beautiful, the quality in Columbia products is there, definitely waterproof & I got it on sale so great value bc Cabelas & Bass Pro are a lot more expensive for the same coat.

I am a petite (short) 4"11", 100 lb female who has struggled to find a winter coat that I don't "swim in". So after reading other customer reviews, I ordered the X-Small. Columbia has nailed it with the "Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket". First of all, it is amazingly lightweight and very packable for travel. The outer shell has a nice water-resistant sheen to the fabric and the inner shell has the dotted Omni-Heat thermal reflective surface for helping retain heat. It's just the right amount of warmth without making you overheat. The hood and collar are lined with a super-soft comfy fleece. The hood is just right for fit and hugs your head without flopping from side-to-side or covering your eyes. Zippered hand pockets are great for securing your phone, wallet or car keys. There's also an additional hidden inner zipper pocket. The cuffs come with the thumbhole to keep the draft from climbing up your arm. The length is just right allowing for 3/4 body coverage and yet easy to move about. It has a 2-way zipper allowing you to zip from the top-down and/or the bottom-up depending on your preference. I love the quilted jacket design which provides a soft, feminine shaping contour which is lacking in many brands. The X-Small size allows for me to wear a long sleeve shirt and a sweater underneath without feeling confined. This jacket has a great feel and fit and you will love it

I LOVE this coat. I am 5'6" about 120 and ordered a small. Seems to fit true to size. I still have room to wear a sweat shirt under it. I love the weight of the coat. It is warm without being bulky. It's definitely not a winter coat, but perfect for Fall or Spring. The hood is super cute with the added fuzzy detail. I bought this in black a couple of years ago and love it so much that I decided to get another color just to mix it up a bit. You never know when it's going to rain when you live in Missouri so the hood comes in handy. I also like how the inside is lined with the omniheat thermal reflective which makes it easy to put on off without your sleeves getting all bunched up. The length is perfect as well, and I love the thumb holes on the sleeves. All around great coat.

I am 5'3 and 116lbs. I bought the Small so I can fit some warmer layers underneath. It actually is a very flattering jacket. A bit long on me (lands at just an inch or two above the knee). It is so lightweight, when I brought in the box, I thought there was no possible way a jacket fit in there. It's too warm here for me to tell if it's actually warm, but in a few weeks, I'll be testing it in Seattle's November. The hood is cozy and lined with nice fleece, and the sleeves were a good length for me - when I tried the heavenly short jacket, the sleeves were almost comically long. These land about mid-palm for me. I can't wait to wear it. I hope it packs up nice and small for my trip, and I will be eager to update how it goes. Overall, love this jacket (I wish it was a tiny bit shorter, but better too long than too short, right?)Edit:It was perfect for my trip! I went when it was 45-50 degrees and it kept me warm (perhaps even a bit too warm in certain settings, like being in the car, but that's not a downside) and it protected against windy weather super well. I wore a thick hoodie underneath and was very comfortable wherever I went. The hood is a bit small if you're wearing a beanie or a hoodie, but otherwise, I'd say it's a great jacket. My only gripe is that the arms aren't insulated as well as the rest of the jacket. When it began to drizzle I could feel the coldness of the rain on my arms, even though the rain didn't soak into the jacket.

I am very happy with this jacket. It’s lightweight and keeps me warm! I love the cuffs with a thumb hole that cover my hands and provide added warmth. The jacket fits well. This will be a great jacket to travel with! This jacket would be perfect if it had a drawstring on the hood to tighten the hood when it’s windy. The hood didn’t remain on my head in a strong breeze. I’d also wish it had snaps for over the zipper in order to quickly open and close the coat without having to zip it up each time.

Very well made! Attention to detail.Light puffer coats are never warm enough for me so I tried this with the thermal lining. I don’t wear bulky sweaters either. Needed a lighter warm coat. Not as warm as I’d hoped but I’ll wear this in 30-40 degree and weather. The sleeve with hand warmer is brilliant. Fleece lined pockets and hood divine. Feels comfy on. I bought 2x. I’m 215#, 5’6” long torso Apple shaped gal. I wear 18-22 in tops depending on brand. My shoulders are my broadest (I’m the inverted triangle if that makes sense). I’m a 44ddd. I tried 3x. Was too big. Especially in hips. 2x fits well. No pinching in arms/armpits (hate when too tight there). I only wish it was longer (I get hives from cold), to cover my thighs. Overall though, awesome jacket!

I love the cozy hood and thumb holes in the cuffs! I just think this "Fig" colour looks much more muted in person than in the product photo. I am going to reorder in a different colour.

My first magenta coat, was skeptical but really loved how it looked on me. Vibrant color, goes really well with my skin tone, warm, and great wind cutter, very light weight. Does not make you bulky.
