Haidilao Self-heating hot pot(6 flavor availalbe) (spicy sausage(麻辣川式香肠）)

The heating part, works. The warmth, is average. The taste was bleh, too much Sichuan peppers cannot really taste anything else.

Modern Chinese dramas are advertising these instant / self-heating hot pots and it made me crave one for a while so I bough the Sichuan sausage version. It was definitely spicy, but I can tolerate it. I love the veggies in it, albeit there wasn't much of a variety. The sausage was my least favorite, I should've bought the beef version. Overall, a great buy! :]

I’m not sure if I’m just not used to hot pot flavor but I wasn’t a fan. And the instructions aren’t in English so I had to go off of the pictures and both times I tried this my noodles weren’t cooked and I had to microwave it a little

this is a meal for sure it will fill you up it's wroth the money

Very, very, very mouth numbing. Very very licorice tasting. The hotness is overwhelming. If I had the second time I would definitely add half of the seasoning sauce instead of the whole packet.

Instructions are very vague as to how much water to add a not the black pot. We actually wrecked this $15 hot pot instant pot thing because of the instructions.

so. much. spice! it is really spicy. my first bite i knew it was going to be trouble. it was fun figuring it out for the first time. im glad i took the time to figure out how much water to put into the heat packet. definitely amazing to hear it heat up and work!for those confused... heres a clearer set of instructions.you will get various packets of food. and two containers. the white one is for the food. the black box is to cook the white container in. deposit all the food items into the white box. fill it up with water. should be nearly full. then, put the heating packet in the bottom of the black box. the fill line is hard to find on this, but the water should basically just be able to cover the heat packet. it is maybe an inch deep. you quickly put the white container on, close the black lid, and wait 15 minutes for the magic to work. very spicy and delicious. maybe not worth more than 15 dollars. be careful not to buy it at extremely high price!!
