This is very tasty, with excellent texture and a fair price. Nothing but Hazelnuts, not even added salt - which it doesn't need. Not a replacement for peanut butter, but a fabulous alternative. Nut oils turn rancid easily, and nuts should always be refrigerated, but the ambient-temperature jars I received are very fresh. The oil does separate, so it does need to be stirred when first opened or after it sits unused for a while. When the oil is stirred in it's still less viscous than peanut butter, but it doesn't run off of your cracker or anything like that. Hazelnuts kept pre-agriculture Europeans and Native Americans alive, providing abundant and excellent all-around nutrition. A spoonful of any nut butter is an excellent addition to any homemade soup - try it! BTW, I have no idea what you're asking when you want me to assign stars to its "sheerness" - to me that means sorta see-through, and I've never met a transparent or even translucent nut butter.

This is literally the best tasting nut butter I’ve ever had in my whole life!!!! It was perfectly blended, as compared to some natural nut butters that are solid on the bottom with oil on the top. Phenomenal!!!!!

Can only have nut butters. This is smooth and creamy. It is perfect paired with chocolate.It's pricey, but then all food is now.

Not sure what’s the deal with this spread, maybe I got a bad batch. Color is not even close to what you see pictured, more like dark grey to green. However, it’s not the color that matters, as taste did not resemble anything remote to hazelnut, might as well just take some dirt and eat it. 2 full jars just went straight to trash.

Love the organic nut butter but started making my own as it gets a bit pricey since I eat this everyday for breakfast.

Out of all the hazelnut butters I've tried, this is the best.I'm allergic to every other type of nut, but I can't help but go for a pb&j. Hb&j is the very next best thing. Specifically this brand.

Quite expensive, but is easy to use in recipes. It is less expensive to purchase hazelnuts and whip them up in the Vita-Mix with some butter, bacon fat or whatever appropriate fat/oil you have with some chocolate and a sweetener to use for nutella-like recipes.

I tried 4 of their flavors so far. Apricot kernel butter, walnut, almond and hazelnut. Each one is delicious and smells so good! I don't want to put the jar away once I start eating, that's the only "disadvantage". Can't tell which of them is my favorite. They are all amazing. I like it that the butters are made from raw nuts to preserve the valuable nutrients. I used them for chocolate making, baking and just straight out of the jar and even in my coffee. Delicious no matter what you do with it.
