This has been my favorite brand for flax hull lignans. You can really tell the quality in the constancy, as I've tried another brand and it was just not the same. This brand has a rich color and texture and just seemed fresher. There are many different ways to incorporate lignans into your diet, but for me, I prefer to capsule it so I can ensure I take it every day regardless of my meals. It is so easy to capsule this brand as it has a stickiness to it as its pressed together, rather than being a fine powder.I find lignans fascinating as I started researching breast pain/swelling and overall breast health and hormone balance, and the products I found to aid with that appeared to be comprised of lignans. I am specifically referencing Brevail - a brand name product that isnt exactly cheap. Nor is bulk powder of true lignans (like this product), but switching to this has made it be spread out further. Is it helping? A lot of this stuff is speculation and I've made a ton of changes in my diet and supplement routine in addition to it. But the issues I was having seem to be gone, so I will continue to take it. In researching lignans, there are just so many benefits that it's a great addition to your health even if you don't have an acute problem.Moral to my story is that if you are here, you probably have done your own research and nutrition knowledge. So with that in mind, this is a great brand for it. It has been my favorite and will be the one I choose to go with. It wasn't worth saving a few bucks for the difference in quality I experienced.***Update 4/14/16. So I was lazy / cheap and didn't reorder this when I ran out. Last week I started developing breast pain / soreness again, plus digestive issues (bloating / trapped gas etc). I was pretty miserable. I scrambled and reordered this right away when I put 2 and 2 together. Thank goodness for prime. Literally the day after I started eating again all symptoms went away and I feel normal again. I found out it was PMS related, and this definitely keeps that in check. If you have these issues I HIGHLY recommend adding lignans to your diet. This is the most affordable brand, and prime membership qualifying.

It is a rare treat to find such high quality at a very reasonable price.The SDG content per 5 MG will vary between 150 and 330. The variation of SDG takes place when a different batch is produced. If you notice a coloration difference in the lignans from one order to another, that is due to a different lignan variety used to produce the lignans. The SDG will still be within the range given.There are many delicious ways to use flax lignans. My favorite way is to sprinkle 1-2 scoops over my cold cereal in the morning. Working well combined with melatonin, adrenal harmony, salmon oil and a grain-free diet for a cushoid dog. I put it in his food everyday.

Using it for my 8 year old Boston terriers cushings. This, combined with melatonin, cushex s drops and a liver and milk thistle, all of her symptoms have subsided since December 2018. We did another round of blood work and she has maintained in 6 months. Ill report back in 6 months after using this product, but so far, so good.4/30/20: Update. Still using this product and another 6 months of great results. Some levels have lowered, some have maintained. Will continue to use this product! Our vet asked me what we were using to keep her diagnosis maintained so well and I mentioned all the things. Somethings working👍

Premium gold flax hull lignans are made from golden flax seeds. Although I don't think this brand is quite as concentrated as, say, Osumex, all you have to do is take a little extra, which is no problem, as it is very mild flavored. It even makes a good ice cream topping (my husband's preferred method). I like this product well enough and have found it helpful enough for my specific health problem that I went to Premium Gold Lignans website and bought 25 lbs of this stuff, at a tremendous discount over the 5.3 ounce jar. Good stuff. They sent me my 25 lbs really fast, too. Very satisfied.

When I read up on Lignans, it says they are very healthy and so much more beneficial to the body than just the flax seed. Lignans are a lot more potent.

I was very excited to receive this product but that faded when I took off the lid. Every product today from toothpaste, olive oil, and medicine have a seal inside the package that must be ripped off in order to us it. Even on this package it says "Do not use if seal is broken or missing." Well, mine was missing. It didn't even look like it even had one. How do I really know what was put into it?
