The price was well bellow the price I have paid in the past whole sale for this same two door mag lock. This lock is a quality product that I have used in the past and I recommend to those who have a door locking system that has a port available or as a replacement.

Very strong holding power
I've purchased other brands of mag locks that didn't hold well at all.... This brand rocks.. Great holding power at 12v, runs reasonably cool and low current requirements.

Power Draw for Each Magnet - 500mA@12VDC... Paralleled magnets = 1A@12VDC
This magnet is exactly what I needed for my project. The only thing that was unclear was how much draw the entire unit has.This particular setup contains 2 magnets, independent of each other, and each one draws 500mA@12VDC, the entire unit (when magnets are paralleled) draws a full 1A@12VDC.

Establishes a new value price point for dual magnet 1200 lb locks
Great unit, and a lot more affordable than other 1200 lb dual magnet units available out there. Has all the features of the competition - dual color LEDs, reed switch outputs for security alarm, dual voltage operation, standardized size, etc. Has added anti-tamper feature of setscrews blocking the four mounting screw heads, making it more difficult for a malicious party to remove the unit from the door frame.
