I have been using Gorilla tape time and time again for my business because of its amazing quality and ease to use. I decided to purchase from Amazon for some reason. I almost purchased multiple rolls but SO glad I did not. While looking at the tape, it looked just like it does in the pictures, I had no reason to think otherwise until I pulled a strip of tape off of the roll to use it. I have no idea what the heck I actually received but it was not Gorilla tape!!! This tape was seriously hard to pull from the roll, kept ripping on me and it felt NOTHING like what I have been purchasing for years. The quality was crap, I would have been better off buying from the dollar store. All I can say is that I did not get what I paid for here so buyer beware.

I bought this tape for shipping regular cardboard boxes cross-country. It said it was extra heavy duty so it seemed like a good product. I taped five boxes on the bottom to start packing them and noticed as I went along that this tape peeled right off the boxes, like little rainbows from the box to the floor. I was very, very disappointed in this product. I ended up purchasing different tape and that tape, which has a yellow water fowl on the label, worked perfectly.

Not really impressed. It doesn’t seem that the adhesive is any better than any of the other brands. The tape is definitely thicker, but if the adhesive is weak, then the tape thickness is inconsequential.
