Great for baking! Jujube Dreams
I have always dreamed of growing a Jujube Tree! Now, I can get this big sack of freeze dried jujubes and cook with them! The fruits are beautiful reddish brown and need to be reconstituted by soaking in liquid, either water, or the cooking liquid you'll use if baking. I used water, then added some soaking liquid into a quick banana bread recipe. These fruits look very similar to dates, but no big pit. I chopped them into 2 or 3 pieces each, added to the bread batter and bake the same way. New flavors, subtle, so delish, sweet and a nice texture. I'm so happy and have enough for much more!

Good for lung health!
Great product! I add it to my ginger tea for lung health. These will be a bit spongy as they are not freshly plucked out of the tree. They’ve been dried to some extent but good as a snack on in herbal teas.

Sweet and Chewy
Like the taste. They are from a remote region of Western China: Xinjiang, famous for growing jujubes. I just snack on them straight from the bag although you can use them cooked in a variety of Chinese dishes.

Not a snacking date
These dates are okay if you are going to cook with them, but I don’t find them particularly enjoyable for snacking. They are smaller than jujubes I’ve previously ordered—they’re about 1” in length, and they’re not as sweet. On the good side, since they’re so small, the seed is tinier. Overall, I would not buy these again for snacking.

Extremely sweet
I normally love dried jujubes but I found these extremely sweet and unpalatable. Straight to the trash.

very hard and dry
Very hard and dry, hard to masticate, easy to break a tooth in a pit
