Scissor Jack Car Jack, Ratchet Handle Saving Strength Design (2.5 Ton)

W had another similar Jack and,Never used. We loaned to a neighbor. I when the returned it, the Jack was broke. My fault, but they never said sorry, I’ll buy you a replacement. I must have been dreaming, they put ur in the price and left. Never admitted to b waking it. Moral of the story: “ I’ll be happy to loan you the Jack, but if you break you pay to replace, the broken Jack. Bottom line that’s not going to happen., you just SAY YOU CAN NOT USE MY TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, SCREWS HAMMERS NUTS BOLTS SCREWDRIVERS NAIL GUNS NAILS, PAINT, PAINT GUNS? PAINT REMOVE TURPENTINE, PAINT BRUSHES PAINT THINERS, just to name a few!!!

Use 2 of these to rotate my tires on a '22 Nissan Pathfinder. I use a socket on an impact driver and they lift quickly and give enough clearance. Better than my floor jack and bottle jack, both of which I had to 'jury rig' to provide clearance.

This jack isn't terrible, it's pretty smooth, I would rather it had a "spinner" crank with a loop instead of the short and slower ratchet which keeps you completely clear of cranking underneath where the jack has to be on my truck, but the ratchet handle is better than using a tire iron and having to reposition on the turning nut over and over. Operation seems smooth enough of the jack and ratchet. The price is definitely attractive, but it says it fit my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Crew cab using "My Garage" from Amazon. I just bought this truck and learned the jack and tools were missing, so I ordered up this one. This jack came up just a bit short when I tried it out upon receipt. With the jack fully raised I could not get my left front tire far enough raised to pull the wheel. Be sure if you get this you check it out with a test lift to verify it can meet your task before needed on a dark, rainy night on an interstate with little shoulder.Since I checked the specs on most of these others offered and they all came up shorter than this one having about the highest lift listed, I came up with my own solution. I cut 2 pieces of 2 x 6 about 14" long to place under the base. I can use just one 1, or 2 stacked if need be to gain me more inches from the base. Also, the less extension toward max, the better and more stable it will be, so I think it enhances the safety. One other thing, DO NOT ever trust an emergency jack like this working under a vehicle without stands or bracing underneath.

Needs to come with a longer extension for use with Jack. Used the Jack several times and it worked smoother after using a little anti-seize on the threads. It is easy to use and is extremely sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. Not sturdy at all! STAY AWAY! It will crush you or even kill you. Do not trust the other positive reviews, watch my video.I used it to change a tire on my SUV (Curb Weight is 4582 lbs = 2.3 Ton). The jack is brand new out of the box and it was the first time using it. It jacks up and down my SUV very smoothly and easily with the included wrench.However, once I was about to take the wheel off, I notice the whole car is wobbling. I immediately put to wheel bolts back on and a jackstand to standby. It is not safe and no way you can take the wheel off when the jack/car wobbling like this.Than I compared this scissor jack to the OEM scissor jack that came with the car. The OEM one is very stable no wobble even I shake the wheel.On wonder why the listing video only shows how easy it jacks the car up and down but did not shows using it to change the wheel. Because you can't do it with this jack wobbleing like that.

I bought this to keep in a Teardrop Trailer so in the event of a flat I could change a tire without having to retrieve the jack from my pickup truck. It works well and is easy to use. It extends just a little more than other similar jacks and that was exactly what I needed. I've used it a couple of time to install new wheels and repack the bearings and it worked perfectly. It folds up small and fits nicely in the back of the trailer.

This is a good jack, I've used it several times to change tires. I bought it to replace the scissor jack that came with the car and I'm glad I did, it's way better. Had no ground clearance issues getting it under my SUV. The base is a lot wider than the cheap scissor jack that came with my car, so that makes it feel more secure.The ratchet makes it faster than a traditional scissor jack, but it's more work than a hydraulic floor jack of course. It felt sturdy and secure. The instructions that come in the box are in Japanese, but it's self explanatory and I had no issues.Overall I would recommend this jack for someone who wants to keep it in their car for roadside emergencies, which is what I use it for. If you want a jack for routine maintenance at home, maybe get a hydraulic one.
