Book contains just the melody lines followed by the background rhythm tracks. Additionally, there is another track so that you can play the melody line followed by your solos. This book does not have Wes' solos or his rhythm chops. The music is written in standard notation in B-flat, E-flat, Bass Clef and C instruments and only contains the chord symbols above the staff, no guitar diagrams.Anywho, the songs are: D Natural Blues Four on Six Fried Pies Road Song Sundown Switchin' Tequila Twisted Blues West Coast Blues Windy.I gave it 5 stars because it does what is suppose to do which is to give you the melody line and rhythm tracks to play along and or solo.In short,

All the books in this series by Hal Leonard are excellent. These are proper lead sheets very similar to what would be given out to members of a big band or jazz combo. There's no clutter—just the melody and chords which is all a musician needs. The band demonstrating the tunes, are absolutely top notch and it's very well recorded.For anybody learning jazz, these books are the best way to learn actual jazz heads or tunes as the general public would refer to them.
