I hanger shopped for literally 2 months before settling on these. I knew I wanted "huggable" type hangers, but I wasn't about to pay huggable prices, if you get my drift. I decided on these after reading the Amazon reviews. THANK YOU AMAZON REVIEWERS. I had initially passed these up because I don't like or need the accessory bar and find it cluttered looking, but wound up being totally frustrated with the other hangers I found. My requirements were:1. Sturdy2. Low cost3. Pretty color4. Not too wideAll the ones I found in stores were either super wide suit hangers (17" and up), flimsy, or ugly. The others I found online had ridiculous hearts in the middle of them, high prices, quality issues, ugly colors, or unknown widths. I'm glad I settled on these "Cresnel" ones! (I put Cresnel in quotation marks because the box they came in has no brand listed on it at all, just a plain cardboard box straight from the Chinese factory)I don't mind the minimalist shade of gray, and the felt flocking on them does not come off. I really rubbed the heck out of one on my white duvet when I first got it just to make sure, and nothing came off at all. I bought 100 of these things and so far I've filled up my second clothes rack with all 100 of them:  Whitmor 6071-1947 Supreme 36-Inch Clothes Closet, White and Clear . That's 100 hangers in 30", including some thick sweaters and blazers (the other 6" have about 10 pairs of pants on pant clip hangers). Not bad.I recommend these to anyone looking for good quality hangers to invest in for wardrobe organization. I only wish they came in more colors, I really would have liked soft pink or ivory! Great quality, very thin, and nothing slides off. Hook also rotates. Good price for the amount of hangers you get.

#Pros:- Good packaging. Items arrived intact. No damage, no bending.- Very sturdy and durable.I grabbed my first set 2 years ago and they still look brand new. So I decided to grab another set for my hoarding activity. Highly recommended!- Increase storage capacity big time. The hook is smaller and can fit many more hangers compared to the plastic ones.- There's a horizontal accessory bar on each hanger, in which you can hold smaller stuff, under garments, ties, scarves, etc. It saves even more space.- Chrome hooks are sturdy and are unlikely to get broken.- Great upgrade to any wardrobe. Instantly turns your wardrobe into a fancy clothing store.- No more pants dropping off a hanger. Thanks to the velvet material, clothing pieces have a nice grip.#Cons:- A bit pricey. Of course cost more than a bunch of plastic hangers. But worth every penny in my opinion.- You'd end up buying more set.

I'm one of those crazy closet ladies. I started out with a closet that was half full and I didn't think I'd ever fill it up. Everything was sorted by type and color and equal distances apart. I didn't like the look of mismatched hangers so I bought a bunch of the clear, plastic ones (like they have in stores). Closet nirvana and I could have posted it on pinterest. Five years later and now my closet is full and I've started stashing clothes in other closets and sneaking things into my husband's section. Instead of cleaning out my closet and donating a bunch of clothes like a normal person, I had this great idea that thinner hangers would help compress everything.My idea worked and I love these hangers. They're thinner than the clear, plastic ones and the white tubular plastic ones. They feel sturdy and I don't think they'll break. They look a million times better than the metal stuff from the dry cleaners. My sweaters and dresses that used to fall off other hangers stay on. The hooks rotates so everything faces the same way even when I get mixed up and hang them on the "wrong" side of the hanger. (Please tell me I'm not the only one that does that) I don't like them for pants, because it's a little harder to slide the pants out of the hanger and I think they might leave creases (I haven't tried so I can't be sure of that theory, but that's the only downside so far.I don't think I can fit much more in my closet without purging, but what I do have now fits nicely and the hangers look spectacular.

For starters, I don't know what Hulk-humans have been buying these hangers, but the ones I received are pretty sturdy. They are as sturdy as your typical plastic hanger.They are a little flatter than your average hanger, but still strong.I purchased the gray ones. They have not shed at all. There is no gray dust anywhere. So either just the blacks ones shed, or those with shedding problems are projecting their real problems onto these beauties.The hooks also rotate (though some easier than others), so those who didn't have rotating hooks either didn't check, or had magically different merchandise than what the majority of us have received.I was a bit skeptical about these when I purchased them, but they were the best deal with the best ratings. I'm never sure if I can trust Amazon reviews anyway. I have seen people complain that espresso cups were "too small" which shows an utter lack of knowledge on that subject.For those who might ask, they are made in China (just like most of the cheap goods you can find, because: capitalism).I'm not obsessed enough that I would replace all of my current hangers with these bad boys, but that might be because I refuse to throw out perfectly good and functioning stuff to appease my asthetic. That's wasteful, and the reason why our country is drowning in garbage. However, buying these made it possible for me to be lazy and not leave my apartment for a small errand. For this reason, I will buy these if my current perfectly good hangers all decide to drink the koolaid and peace out.
