Sylt Lingon, Lingonberry Preserves, Ikea Food, 14 Ounces, (Pack of 4)

We eat this on artisan crackers with brunost (brown, goat cheese) and it is the BEST!

I love ikea products. Wanted others to know that the price this distributor charges is 2-3 times more than the ikea price.

The reason I gave it only 3 starts instead of 5 is that it arrived with one shattered inside the box. The other three were intact, but covered in glass and preserves. This was fulfilled by Amazon, but sold by Ikea. So I first called Ikea to talk to them about getting a partial refund. I was told by a very "curt" woman that they did not ship the product and I will need to talk with Amazon about any problems with packaging or shipment. Apparently "customer service" was not her strong point.I then was able to get Amazon on the phone and after being transferred three times, I was able to get intouch with someone who could hep me. I explained that one of the bottles had broken during the shippment process and explained to her that there was evidence of "something" leaking from inside the box before I even opened it. Knowing what I might find inside I took pictures of the sealed box, after I opened the outter box, the inner box, still sealed and so on... until you got to the broken jar and glass and preserves everywhere. There were 11 pictures total (I also told the lady at Ikea about this, but she was also uninterested). The lady from Amazon then asked me to just ship it back in the original box. I explained again that it was wet from the preserves that had leaked out and I was not sure that I would be able to ship a damaged, wet box. Long story short she offered me credit for the one broken bottle. This product is great, but after this experience, I am not sure if I wil be ordering this from Ikea again. While this was the second shipment and the first order was delivered perfectly intact, and I understand this happen and glass breaks... I was more put off by the lack of customer service and just "not caring" that they sent be a box that was leaking and full of shattered glass mixed with preserves. Where was the customer service?

I was disappointed that expiration date for the four was Aug 2022, the four I ordered before had a expiration date of Jan, 2023.

I am a Swede. Swedes, for the most part love lingonberries. They are a bit like small cranberries, but tell me, are you able to buy Cranberry Jam? If so, tell me where, but please understand, I live as far from MN as I do from Sweden.When I lived near an IKEA, it was an easy shopping experience, but we moved away from that city and there went my access to many foods I liked and didn't have the time to make myself! My bi-weekly shopping trips to IKEA also went down the drain!Amazon Prime to the rescue! I was able to buy more than one jar, so I stocked up! Personally I recommend Sylt Lingon (in Swedish it translates into Lingon[berry] Jam), with many foods, such as Swedish pancakes (of course!), salmon, pork, turkey, and many other foods as well. I don't eat a lot of sugar, Sylt Lingon is just about it. I am very happy I have a new supplier now, but...AHEM, IKEA... WHY don't you put in a store nearer to my home? I live in a city large enough to appreciate and support your products!

I love this product. I’ve been buying it for years from IKEA. Tastes very similar to cranberry, which I really like. The product is expensive, however, it saves me time and money so I don’t have to drive to IKEA. The best part about it: The four glass jars are wrapped so perfectly that you could drop the box from a one story building and the containers probably would not break. Well done to the vendor whomever packages these glass jars.

This is a great product. Fewer calories and less sugar than most brands. Everyone we serve these Ligonberries love. I originally bought this at IKEA but was elated to be able to purchase through Amazon without to drive to our nearest IKEA. I highly recommend this product.
