Fletchers' MillProvencal Pepper Mill, White with Blue "Poivre" - 6 inch

I am so glad I went with this company, first and foremost.Second, I’m so glad I went with this style. It’s stunning by. It feels solid in the hand. The grinder is great. It pushes out a good amount of pepper per crank.My only wish is there was a bigger capacity with this style (I know they make a bigger grinder).

Beautiful pepper mill that works much better (smoother/ stronger grinding action) than the mills I bought at Target years ago. It looks like the picture, or even better, in real life. Also, I will say that I ordered the matching salt mill from a different vendor on amazon and noticed that the salt mill had a cap with an "S" on the hardware on the very top of the mill. But this pepper mill did not have a similar cap with a "P" (no cap at all). I was disappointed and thought maybe it had fallen off in the warehouse or something, so I contacted Fletcher's Mill directly to inquire about a replacement piece. They are lovely people and replied with a detailed/ mechanical explanation of why there cannot be a cap on the pepper mill because, essentially, the pepper mill is designed to be turned both clockwise and counter-clockwise (for fine or coarse grinds). So just in case you have the same question, that might save you the time of writing Fletcher's Mill. Also, rather impressed by the thoughtful mechanics behind this thing! :)

Very attractive and useful. Once in a while the pepper grinder stops working well and I find I have to flip it over and push the mechanism back up. It’s a minor problem but that’s the solution

Also purchased the Le Sol ; set is elegant just as pictured; great gift for the discriminating manager of the kitchen. Expensive but see them lasting a lifetime- more than can be said for metal and glass sets bought prior. Won't show finger prints as quickly; perfect for any white or blue kitchen colors. Love them!Buy bags of whole peppercorns and Himalayan salt as well.

I love this piece ...looks lovely on my counter and works with a smooth mechanism. Easy to grind and adjust

The media could not be loaded.  Poor finishes, bought salt and pepper grinder and on both the screws threading isn't done well. Can't screw in the nut to adjust the grinding size. Considering they are supposed to be handmade and in the USA, it's not quality workmanship or quality products. Will have use my tap and die set to make it work properly.
