exceeded expectations
As a retiree, I recently took up golf again after a 20-year hiatus. I bought a set of new irons,but threw in my bag several mismatched metal woods. Looking on Amazon just for a 5-woodto fill the gap between my 3 and 7, I saw these. Noticing that the company also had a matchingpair in 7 and 9-woods, I decided to buy all four to replace the old ones. At least these should feeland swing the same, right? Besides, all four together cost less than one brand-name fairway wood,so the risk seemed worth it.I played today, and was very pleasantly surprised. You get what you pay for, right? Well sometimesyou get a lot more than you pay for. The consistency between these clubs was impressive, and I wasimmediately hitting them further and straighter than the old woods I took out of the bag. I don't hitthe ball a long way anymore (my good drives are 190-210), but I hit the 3-wood off a couple of teesjust to try it, and got 150-170, with maybe ten yards less hitting from the fairway.These clubs feel lighter in the hand than the old ones, which was fine with me, but might be disconcertingfor a younger, stronger player. They have a nice look, too, like something much more expensive.Truly, I don't see how a person looking for a bargain in fairway woods could do better than this.

Stainless steel woods with a great shaft. What a nice club!
Thay are not the longest club I have used-Stainless steel heads are heavier. Great shaft- stainless steel heads. I like them more and more using them. Proud to have them. I'm playing sometimes better than my opponents now. A few people have asked what kind they are. The prices are fantastic. This AGX company is really pretty good. I am pleased to use their equipment They have some good clubs at a reasonable prices.

Ok. But older existing 3 wood is better. 5 wood also not giving any more distance than my much older 5 wood. Disappointing on distance

Cheap and still not worth it
Just started back playing golf and did not want to a bunch. These are two steps up from terrible. Poor sweet spot, terrible feel even on perfect contact and poor distance. Spend A few $$$ more and get the new Tommy Armour 845 woods (wedges too)

These clubs are amazing! Hit the ball great and fartherthen I ever have and straight! Wasn't sure with this brand but for the price and performance of this club was amazing!
