Stay away
This product is falsely advertised. This does not work with my 2011 Audi Q5.This product is plugged into my Audi MMI port but doesn't read the bluetooth device and the light doesnt turn on even after being plugged in with the car on. The bluetooth ID doesn't show up either. All in all I got a product that does not work what so ever.

Fits 2012 Audi Q5
Works great for a 2012 Audi Q5. Basically plug and play. You do have to turn up your phone volume to maximum and adjust your car volume to be able to hear. If your iPhone volume is down, you won’t hear anyrhing from your car speakers. The sound quality is decent. It’s not thumping loud but it’s crisp and clear. I do notice the device stays on even when car is off. Don’t know how long before it turns itself off but my phone still stays connected after 30ish mins. Connectivity is good but sometimes it won’t auto connect so you’ll have to manually connect it.

Able to play music through Bluetooth in my car with almost factory level integration for cheap
Using it to get full A2DP capability in my 2011 Audi A4. So far it works great. Plugged right into the connector in the glove box and it turns on/off when I open the door or close the door if the key is out. Works through the aux on the mmi as stated in the instructions

Works as advertised for a 2012 Audi Q5
Pictured on the right is my new cable, and on the left are the two iPod cables that came with the car. The connection port is inside the glovebox.My 2012 Audi Q5 came with an old Apple iPod charger cable. I bought this Bluetooth cable, plugged it into the MMI port, paired my iPhone X to the device, and it worked right away. This one little cable gave my car a huge upgrade. The car's dash displays my phone's contacts. I can now have excellent voice calls through the car and play my music. The sound quality is great!

Works very well for aux in Audi
I was iffy purchasing this at first but then decided to risk it. It works so well, automatically connects to your phone when you get into the car and the audio is perfect. On occasion, it will skip a second of a song but that is with any Bluetooth device. This helped me with my 2012 Audi Q5 that there is no aux cord available. It allows you to stream music but still connects to the car when you get a phone call.

Works great
This thing does everything it is designed to do. It allows you to play audio in your Audi via Bluetooth. Yes, you need to disconnect it from the port to turn it off but that's what I expect from a static Bluetooth receiver. I mean this thing is as functional as a third party, aux input Bluetooth receiver minus the hassle of having to charge the darn thing after a couple hours of use. I love it so far and I'm going to keep loving it until Audi adds a way to use Bluetooth for audio in my car without having to go third party for it.

What every oldish Audi owner needs to stream music.
This worked perfect to get my music on my phone to stream in my 2010 Audi A5.3months so far and no hiccups.

Great for the price
This worked on the first try in my 2010 Audi A5. The connection and sound is good. Works on phone calls also. Disconnects sometimes and you have to reconnect the Bluetooth, but well worth the hassle for the price. I recommend it.
