He has fed back that this book is a wonderful read, and interesting story of Beatrice Harrison
A book I purchased for a friend who is a philharmonic conductor in his spare time. He has fed back that this book is a wonderful read, and interesting story of Beatrice Harrison, and added bonus was the signed dedication from Beatrice's sister to the original owner

In 1920s England famous Cellist and nighingales play duets
This is a fascinating biography of one of the most famous Cellists of her day. Both Delius and Elgar wrote Cello Concertos for her and she performed all over the world. In her garden in the summer when she played her cello the nightingales would answer her and this happened so regularly that the BBC in 1924 came down to the garden and recorded them. It was one of the first Outside Broadcasts the BBC ad ever done! The work that English composer Cyril Scott wrote for Beatrice called The Melodist and the Nightingales has just been recorded by the Royal National Scottish Orchestra, Conductor Martin Yates.
