Enough to cover 1/4 acre lot and superb performance
I’ve been using this product for almost a decade and it performs superior to lake products in terms of suppressing the formation of ant colonies and I anecdotally think it has reduced the number of ticks we pull off of our pet.

Does What It Says
Works great! In Florida, we have plenty of bugs and as someone who has better things to do than install and maintain quality turf, the bugs can stack up. Before using this product, it wasn't uncommon to walk through the yard and see bugs jump and scatter as I went. What little grass there was, wasn't doing too well either. Since putting this down, the lawn looks better and there are very very few bugs. While not using this on my garden, I've noticed less bugs making it to my garden from the lawn thanks to this product. Seems to create a nice barrier around it!

Good stuff
We recently bought a home with a big bug problem in the yard. The yard was covered in blackberries so after removing those we had to get rid of all the critters. I bought one of these bags for our 7600 sq ft lot. It was just enough cover all of the grass, the two main flower beds, the vegetable garden, and do a perimeter around the house. We weren't able to do everything, but I think thats because of the perimeter around the house, which should be poured heavier than when you sprinkle it on the grass. If you have a large lot and plan on doing a perimeter AND pouring it on a large area of grass AND covering some flower/veg beds buy two bags!We have a dog. I followed the directions completely and no issues. I hosed everything down very well, let it dry then hosed it down again just to be sure. The dog didn't try to eat it (he eats everything, Corgi). Its been a few weeks and the bugs are gone. All I see now are spiders, but only in the yard, havent had any in the house since I poured the perimeter.

Works great at first - but we applied when we were getting rain daily - only controlled bugs about a month - Definely would try again when it is a dry time of years so it doesn't just run to bottom of the hill.

Couldn't be more impressed.
We have two dogs who had terrible flea problems last summer. Lots of squirrels and raccoons running around the yard day and night and they bring the fleas with them.Used this for the first time this summer and literally have not had a single incident with fleas. I cannot stress how stressless this product is. No worrying about using frontline that only lasts a short time. No worrying about fleas actually jumping on the dogs in the first place since they are kept away from the yard altogether. It's a money saver and takes the flea battle to their turf instead of in your home or on your pet.

So Far So Good!
Applied the product to help combat problem with carpenters ant. After applying to the perimeter of the house, I have not seen any ants inside my home for about 2 months. Not sure if the product was able to kill the queen ant and her colony because I still see occasional ants outside my home, especially near the deck area. To be fair, it was harder to apply this product near the deck area because the deck is covering the soil and I do not want any chemicals lingering on the deck where my 8 year old son can come into contact with.

Didn't Perform as well as expected
2012 was predicted to be especially bad for ticks and mosquitoes, so I purchased this to be proactive and spare my 4 dogs and little girl from a parasitic attack. While its hard to know exactly how many bugs it killed off, I ended up picking a few ticks off my legs a few weeks after spreading the pellets and my daughter gets eaten alive every time she is out in the backyard (despite citronella torches as well). The benefit did not outweigh the risk and detriment of laying down chemicals on my yard.
