Outstanding. Works Great in 2008 Mercedes E350
This is the fourth set of H7 LED headlight lamps I have tried in the past two weeks and it is unquestionably the best.Constructed of shiny, polished aluminum that looks and feels like stainless steel, this is also the smallest lamp of the four I have seen ā it fits in my headlight assembly with room to spare. There is no flicker or CANBUS errors on my 2008 Mercedes E350; the fan is silent; and the light is a bright, dense white with no shadows or unevenness. The bare light, when I tested it outside the headlight assembly, had a hint of a white/yellow edge ā but in the assembly it is a pure white. (The previous lamps I purchased had a pale white/blue luminosity, nowhere near the brightness of these.)I installed these as my low beams, which are projector lenses. I would not suggest using these in reflector lenses unless you are deliberately trying to be annoying, as these lamps are too bright for reflectors, which scatter light very wide, blinding oncoming drivers. I also installed these (H11 version) in my fogs, which are reflectors, and they are insanely bright and wide-spread. (I was planning to return that one but will just live with it.)There are DOT-established standards that lighting manufacturers voluntarily conform to but no DOT āapprovalā of any equipment. (SAE approval is another matter.) If a light or related equipment has a DOT stamp, it amounts to essentially nothing.DOTās Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 108 (which most U.S. jurisdictions conform to) specifies that replacement headlight ācapsulesā match the electrical specifications and dimensions of factory equipment. These LEDās, based on form factor and power consumption, satisfy that criteria when used in a proper headlight assembly, because they are nearly identical in size and power to halogens. (HID/xenon lights, installed in a halogen-specific headlight assembly, would not.)*** Some state authorities and/or inspection stations, if they too-narrowly interpret FMVSS-108, may have different opinions. ***------------------------------------------------------------How to Install these in a 2007-2009 E-Class (W211) Mercedes------------------------------------------------------------This can be frustrating due to limited space and zero visibility into the headlamp assembly. It is all done by touch. The lamp itself takes seconds to insert into its holder ā the removable circular collar shown in the pictures. To do that you need an adapter to secure that collar onto the headlight housing. The high beam and low beam adapters are NOT the same. This is the one for the low beam:https://www.amazon.com/TOMALL-Headlight-Retainers-Adapter-Mercedes/dp/B074ZQHJWG/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8***Leave your existing adapter in place on the power socket.*** (It will not be in the way.) If you change your mind about the LED's, or if you live in a state with archaic headlight laws (and can fail a safety inspection for not having stock lighting), you want to be able to easily switch back to your halogens for the inspection, and reinstall the LEDās afterwards.1. The circular collar and adapter must be joined as shown at the right of my picture, then inserted together into the projector lens opening at the back of the headlight assembly. The two v-shaped, prongs on the adapter lock into the openings of two, larger, elongated, u-shaped prongs on the projector opening, with pressure and friction holding them firmly in place, just like the existing halogen adapter.2. You will need to bend the v-shaped prongs back to make sure the adapter engages with enough pressure between it and the housing to firmly secure the collar. This is critical, and the key to successful installation. If the adapter and collar are not inserted tightly, they will rattle loose and the lamp will tilt out of alignment.3. Before attempting to insert the collar/adapter, stuff a soft rag into the housing, below the projector lens. When (not āif,ā when) you drop the adapter and/or collar they will slide deep into the headlight housing where your hands cannot reach -- unless the rag is preventing that. (Donāt ask how I know this.)4. The driver side headlight it the toughest to get to because the coolant expansion tank is in the way. You can squeeze your arm between it and the frame to get to the headlight but it is less painful to remove the plastic rivet at the top bracket of the tank, and lift it up and out of the way. (I suspended mine from a bungee cord connected to the hood.) You do not need to disconnect any coolant hoses.5. If you have replaced a low beam headlight on these cars before, you know how to position and twist it into place. This adapter/collar combo requires more finesse because you are securing two slippery pieces at once, without the headlight socket for grip and leverage. Grasp the pieces, positioning the adapter v-prongs above the opening of the projector prongs, pressing down while twisting clockwise, using your fingertips to guide the v-prongs into place. If you succeed the first time, you are a champ. When the adapter/collar are firmly secured, the LED lamp can be slid into place, connected to the power socket, and you are done. Be sure to aim/adjust your headlights afterwards.UPDATED 10/25/2019I also purchased the H11 version for my fogs, but apparently cannot do a separate review for those. So I am adding it here. The H11 is also great ā perhaps too great because they are insanely bright, undoubtedly because my fogs are reflectors, which spread the beam much wider. I seriously considered returning them but since I rarely use my fogs, which mainly turn on automatically as courtesy lights when I remotely unlock or lock the car, I will just keep them.Like the H7, the H11 is constructed of shiny, polished aluminum that looks and feels like stainless steel. (It shows as dark gray in the photos but it is pure silver.) There is no flicker or CANBUS error; the fan is silent; and the light is a bright, dense white.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Both fog lights in an E350 can be done in less than 10 minutes, and without looking:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------1. Turn the wheel all the way to the opposite direction of the side you are working on, to gain access to the fender liner.2. Pull back the fender liner and the fog light will be in plain view. To do this, remove the plastic rivet securing the liner in place. It is in a square indentation on the extreme outer edge of the liner. Use a tiny pry bar or small screwdriver to remove the inner pin first. Donāt worry about damaging it if you have spares like these:https://www.amazon.com/PartsSquare-Fastener-Retainer-Replacement-Mercedes-Benz/dp/B012SUEPB4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF83. Reach in and gently squeeze the clasps on the side of the power connector, where it meets the back of the bulb, and pull down to disconnect.4. Twist the lamp counterclockwise and pull it out.5. Insert the new LED and secure it (twist clockwise)6. Connect the LED cord to the carās power cord.7. Replace the fender liner, and you are done.NOTE: You may get a Left/Right fog lamp out message on the dashboard immediately after installing them. This appears to be normal. Shut off all lights, restart the car, and the messages should disappear for good. One additional thing I recommend: There is belly pan under that car where water pools when it rains. The power cords for these LEDās are long, and have a box with resistors and/or other electronics, which will rest on that pan. The lamp may be waterproof but the cords are not so what I did was create a zip tie hoop around another cable above the fog light, and then fed the LED cord through that before connecting it to the carās power cable, to assure the LED cable never touches the pan.

Perfect on my 2013 Mercedes E350
I had tried a few other H7 LED bulbs in the past but they were all disappointments with lower light output than the stock halogen bulbs until these. I practically read all the H7 reviews in Amazon to find these. They worked great once installed with the retainer clips purchase separately. I was delighted to confirm as mentioned in other reviews that these worked great in my 2013 Mercedes E350 (W212) without needing canbus resistors, and am finally pleased with the bright white light output. One trick is to rotate the bulb to achieve best beam pattern, mine is best where the cable is at 12 o'clock position.Hope these will last. And many thanks to all the reviewers for valuable information on this product.

Great dispersion, very bright, THE BEST customer service
Car Work Box has unparalleled customer service. I had a problem with my initial purchase, but they were eager to address it and went above and beyond. These LEDs are exceptionally bright and disperse light well. I hope they last! I'll update if anything changes......Thank you, Car Work Box.

Outstanding LED Bulbs
Installed these H7 LED Bulbs on my BMW and the light output is amazing. The difference is like night and day compared to my stock bulbs. There is no flickering with these bulbs, and the build quality is excellent. So Far I have been using them for the last 3 months and have not had any issues. I am using these bulbs for my high beams, but I also ordered a set for my low beams. The picture I uploaded does no justice to how good the light output is in dark conditions.

Fantastic light! Super bright. Great support for a novice.
This product is fantastic. I could barely see before even though I had the brightness Halogens I could find. I had tried over 5 different products. Now I can see so far down the road. Unbelievable.Plus the support is great. I actually screwed up with the installation which was easier than the other brands. When I pulled off the small metal clip, as noted clearly in the manual, it slipped out of my clumsy hands! I could not find it! I contacted customer support and they sent me one for free!I donāt work on my car and changing light bulbs is the most I do. Having someone there to help makes all the difference.

GARBAGE DONT BUY
Finally had the chance to install these bulbs and only last me about a month. The thing Legit Blew-out on me while I riding on the highway smh. Thankfully it did not burn by wiring or anything like that. But I wouldn't buy these again Be careful .

But the lights work well better than expected so Iām happy with that.
These lights work great and are definitely bright enough my low beams are probably just as bright as someoneās highbeams so I have to angle my lights down so theyāre not in someoneās rearview mirror but they definitely light up dark roads the thing that I donāt like about them is Iāve never like how these particular lights are installed They just donāt go in easily not on a BMW they donāt thatās where I like American cars where itās a twist lock But the lights work well better than expected so Iām happy with that

Great lamps. Doesnt fit jaguars
The correct size for my xj8 however the design of this brand doesn't allow for the lamps to be held in place. Customer service referred me to a you tube. Video where a guy taped them in. Worked until I crossed rr tracks. Great lamps if you own a Jaguar that do not have a cure for installing them I have then Tina friend who's car locked them in place Jaguar just has a different way which doesn't allow this lamp. To work

Extremely bright LED bulbs
Dose not fit 2018 Santa Fe XL without the seprate bracket to hold in to headlight itself, the wires plug in good and is very bright but can not install into headlights as there are no brackets to hold in, bought the bracket to install and absolutely love these lights, they are super bright
