NOT 100% COTTON! False advertising
I have never written an Amazon review before, but I don't like being deceived. I looked high and low for all-cotton socks - 100%. Hard to find because manufacturers prefer blends that stretch so they only have to carry one or two sizes. But if you look at the Davido socks in direct sunlight, you'll see the telltale reflection of synthetic material - cotton never reflects that way. My suspicions were confirmed in wearing the socks, since I had the same reaction I always to do synthetics. So buyer beware - these are not all-cotton socks.

didn't seem like all cotton
Too much elastic, didn't seem like all cotton. Vendor issued refund advising to dispose of socks.I washed them, they shrunk drastically in warm wash and dry. I put them on the 'free stuff' table where I live and they disappeared (no doubt to someone with very small feet). Not satisfied with product, but dealer was more than fair.

**Update** 100% cotton, yes!
**Update** I bought my first pack of David socks in March of 2018 and I wanted to make sure I liked them and I did so I bought these in Aug. 2018. I washed them like I did the first pack and put them under the other socks in my drawer for when the older ones wore out. Thankfully, the older pairs have not worn out but the lady that does my laundry for me, I've had a stroke and can't do it any longer, is on vacation so I've just put the first pair of the newer socks on. I don't if they sent a smaller size by mistake because these are so small. I wear socks 24/7 and with the nerve damage from the stroke they must be comfortable. This makes me so unhappy, I thought I'd found my lifetime socks, it's hard to find 100% cotton.Just the right thickness of cotton socks that don't wear out and aren't slippery. I hate the spandex they're putting in all the socks nowadays, along with clothes, too. I liked these so much I came back and bought more in case Davido's start adding spandex to their socks. First pack I've had close to a year. I'm elderly and a shut-in and wear socks 24/7, I can't tell the difference, now that both orders have been washed, which socks are from the old order.

For true 100% cotton...best bang for your buck
If you remember the days when you could walk into any chain athletic shoe store and buy a 12-pack of really good 100% cotton socks for $10, this is the closest thing to it you’re going to find today (if you’ve looked, you know what I’m talking about). I’d say they’re slightly less sturdy than the best of those socks were, but only slightly. Some reviews here complain that they’re too thin, but I bought this same product about 8 months ago (4/18), have worn them regularly, and they’re holding up fine - so I just bought another set (12/18). They’re not the thickest socks I’ve ever worn, but they’re definitely not the thinnest. Most importantly, they feel good on my feet, and they breathe like 100% cotton should.I don’t know if it’s true, but I was told by someone in the clothing industry that something changed a few years ago in the US trade politics regarding imported cotton, and it has significantly impacted the price of cotton here. That’s also why good, inexpensive cotton sheets are so hard to find now too.To sum up: I like them, they’re comfortable, they breathe well, and they haven’t fallen apart on me under normal, consistent use in almost a year. The bottom line is, if you’re looking for some good, everyday socks, and 100% cotton is a top priority, these are the best bang for your buck right now. And believe me, I looked *hard* for a long time before I came across these.

New favorite socks!
Got my 8 pack in the black crew yesterday. Immediately washed and put a pair on. What a difference from the store bought cotton/poly blend socks! My feet stayed warm and dry, no cold clamminess like those cotton/poly blends! These things are great, I am so happy. The packages say 100% cotton made in Italy, and I believe it 100%. Not sure why people are saying these are a blend of cotton and some other fabric- they are not. They are 100% cotton. I am in love! Thanks Davido!

Great 100% cotton socks that aren't made in China, comfortable, and easy to care for!
Davido socks are the favorite socks in our household when it comes to crew length socks. We purchased the color white in size 10-13. The socks are true to size and comfortably fit me (I wear a woman's 11.5 shoe) and my significant other (he wears a men's 12.5 shoe). They don't stretch out or sag like cheaper brands over time.Comfort wise these socks provide a nice cushion when walking. They are all white and do not have the funky gray bottom that so many brands of cheap socks do. I love that they are 100% cotton because I have allergies and we avoid synthetic fabrics in our household. Also love that they are made in Italy not China.Washing these socks is easy. They can go in a washing machine or be washed by hand. They also do well when you soak them in vinegar. My significant other works in a hospital and gets the funkiest, grossest socks on the planet. We leave a bucket of vinegar near the laundry area and just toss them in when we take them off.Vinegar keeps these socks looking bright white and they look brand new even though some of them since 2016! They do not get holes in them easily like cheaper brands so they are truly high quality socks. Despite being made of 100% cotton we have not had any problems with shrinking. If you want comfortable 100% cotton socks not made in China, give Davido socks a try. You might love them like we do. We've now purchased them 5 times and absolutely love them!
