I had read the reviews and noted several comments about a 'broken hand' upon receipt.But, I went ahead and took a chance, since sometimes, things do work out favorably.Sadly, this didn't happen.The package was received in good condition and was fairly well packed, but one hand was broken off at the wrist. The reason for the break is the casting, at that point, is extremely thin; so thin that I'd be surprised if it didn't break!It was repairable, and since it is intended as an upcoming anniversary gift, I glued it (industrial strength glue) and one would really have to examine it closely to detect the repair.However, for $40, it should not require repair upon receipt. Therefore, the 3 Star rating.Having said all that, it is very attractive and it will be well received by my wife.

I got this for our goods friends and neighbors 16th wedding anniversary. I got it the very day I was planning to take it to them, and one of the hands was broken!!! Fortunately, my husband and I were able to "super glue" it so that it was not noticeable. I had to touch it up with some gold/bronze paint I happened to have on hand. I did not want to send it back and tell them what had happened. They loved it; or said they did anyway. It is beautiful and and great wedding or anniversary present. My husband and I said we'd not mind having one ourselves.

Original item broke during shipping but new one was shipped out promptly.Having seen the real sculpture at the NCMA in Raleigh, I wanted to purchase something with a similar likeness for a good price. That is what I’ve received.The finish of the piece is high-end (though not the same black color as the original, its a striated/metallic finish that looks good). Overall I’m very pleased with the piece and its quality.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I was gifting this to a friend, due to covid I have not seen her. I finally opened it today to wrap and one of the hands it broken off. I did not realize there was only a 1 month window for return with this product. Will not be ordering again!

Purchased this product for a bridal shower. Packaging looked fine when it arrived, but the one hand was completely broken off. Returned it and requested a new one. New one arrived and was also broken. Needless to say I will not be ordering another one.

We opened the bronze just now for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and to our dismay the base at the bottom of both hands is broken so that the hands are snapped off - we loved the design but very sad Tom Preston

Received badly broken poor quality. Separated foam packing and statue was in several broken pieces

This is a perfect gift for an Anniversary especially when the Anniversary has a lame year. Example 44 is groceries...this was a better idea.
