The case is very rugged and does seem to offer great protection. But, the included screen protector is quite bad. It looks bad, and makes using the device harder, requiring pressure to get a response from the device.

I own several other Acctrend products and have been very happy with them all. However, this iPad Mini case is a big disappointment. I'm not sure if Acctrend used a different manufacturer or what else would cause this, but its design and quality are subpar compared to all their other products I've tried.Pros:-Good protection including hard rubber & silicone layers-I like the concept of the kickstand (though I don't think it's well implemented, see below)Cons:-the kickstand on back is NOISY and hard to use, click click click every time you change it. It's also not very effective, the iPad tends to fall over b/c the kickstand is small and it doesn't balance very well.-built-in screen protector significantly lowers responsiveness of screen, and isn't very durable itself.-extremely thick & bulky - I know this is a "full-coverage" case, but it's thicker than my 4 year old Macbook pro.-the flap used to cover headphone jack on top is very flimsy, seems like it will tear off with just a little use-silicone jacket doesn't fit perfectly around hard portion of case, leaving some parts a little slack-packaging lists this as a "leather case" - it seems like they just reused some old packaging for another case without changing it at allAll in all, this case is a disappointment. I cannot recommend it, but DO encourage you to look at Acctrend's storefront, as they have some other great products. this case is very nice! As soon as I got the package I was eager to open it & get it on my new ipad mini. It is a simple solid black colored case. It is also lightweight & the perfect size. The case back shell is plastic, the front cover is a thin plastic screen protector surronded by a hard plastic outter frame. There is also a thick rubber/silicone cover piece. To install the case place your Ipad backside into the back shell, then remove the screen protectors protective backing film, snap the front piece to the back piece. They will click together & the screen protector should stick to your device. Then place the rubber cover around the shell for drop proof protection. The rubber cover pice has port covers to keep all buttons protected fully. There are also port cover flaps to keep the headphone jack & charger port protected. The back shell also has a kickstand. The kickstand is plastic, with a rubber bottom grip. The kickstand allows you to stand your device in portrait mode (the long way) at around 10 or 11 differnt angles. I heard 2 clicks total from having it fully opened to closing it. The furthest angle is almost like having your Ipad laying down it is very cool. The kickstand holds it up very well, it also feels very sturdy. I recommend not pulling it to hard though because there is a possibility it could break if pulled to hard. The case adds a lot of protection to your device with minimal bulk & very little (if any) weight. I think this case will be very protective & also provide me with a lot of support as well as comfort when using your device. I have had cases similar to this but not as nice & well made as this product. I really do like this acctrend ipad mini case. I am a teacher and it works well in my classroom with my kindergarten through 5th grade kiddos. It has been dropped several times and my ipad has had no issues! I could not say that about my previous case. I do like that it has a rotating kickstand on it to help it sit up so that you can see it better. I am giving this 4 stars because it came to me with slight scratches on the screen, and there is some room between the screen on the case and the actual screen on my ipad. It does still work, I just have to make sure that I push the numbers harder, that is a little more annoying for me, especially when I am trying to put something in in the middle of class. I have also let my two year old boys use this with no problems at all, and I was confident giving it to them. The sound quality is still great even with the case on there and all of the little openings (charger, headphones, and volume/vibration switch) all seem to be well made and work like they are supposed to! This is a nice durable case for the iPad mini. I have the two and my children have the one and it fits them both with no problems at all. It goes on easy and snaps in secure and stays in place with no worries. It has a fingerprint port for ipad mini 3 which is pretty neat. And it has an advanced protection design to protect and secure your iPad from getting broken from jars and bangs. The design is sleek and nice, it isn't to bulky it feels comfortable in my hands. It is super easy to put on and it stays put. It turn in a 360 degree turn for all angles and it stands to enjoy more view angle. This one is really nice it has a Built-in Screen Protector so you don't have to make tow purchases you get it all in one package.impurchased this product for a reduced price to give an honest and unbaised review
