Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wish I could give it a 0 stars! This is the 2nd Hygger mini air pump that I bought and when I plugged it in, it was even louder than the first one! Both of these Hygger models are so obnoxiously loud! It sounds like a jack hammer! I can't believe they actually say they are silent in the ad! LIE!!!! Just for the record, I previously purchased 2 of the other mini pumps by Hyggar and they were very loud so I decided to try their other model since it said they were very quiet and all the reviews were great. I must be very unlucky because I purchased 2 more and they are BOTH so loud that I can't use them! I don't know why people are giving these pumps high reviews because they are crap!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Great kit, includes all that is needed to get started: mini pump, standard air line (3.5 feet), bubbler stone, and check valve. Super easy to set up. Clear set of directions.I have a tank ornament that uses a bubbler. I needed to get a pump to make it happen. I wanted to use the decoration for a little pizazz in my small 5 gallon vertical Glofish tank, and especially the bubbler as means to provide healthy aeration. This pump comes with a bubble stone and a check valve. I added in the check valve as per instructions (easy peasy). I am not currently using the stone, but am happy it came with one. The pump is quite quiet. It has 4 little rubber feet to help keep it from bouncing around and making additional noise. My tank is set up in the family room, so I really don't hear it. Might be different in a bedroom. Even so, it is more the sound of the bubbler than the motor bodyI am just several days into using it. So far so good. If I experience anything different, I will be back to update.

I was really excited about the compact design, in the claims made that it was quiet. However, it is not quiet at all, and that depends if it’s even working at all. It sits on top of a table in every now and then I move it to clean the tank. As I move the pump it will stop working. I realized the slightest pressure from your fingertips when moving the pump or a slight turn on its side Will cause the pump to stop working. It is very unreliable and unfortunate because it is a good brand name is a decent price. It is adequate for 10 to 30 gallon tank. Focus on those products that you do well with, and not try to offer all things to all people. Nothing to do now but throw it in the garbage.

Am not currently using this air pump as I purchased it for my 3.5 gallon beta tanks filter and it produced way too strong of a current.. But i did hold onto it as I hope to use it in my 10 gallon once i get the filter ordered. It was a nice little pump, definitely had some power to it. I was concerned about the strength but trusted reviews.. Maybe it was just my beta not being too strong (neighbor kid brought it to me in a small bowl, probably wasnt very strong!), but again, the output current from this pumo and filter just blew him around,his food around, etc. But it def did its job, just was not what I needed for this tank... will use it, though!

Got this for one of my 10 gallons. I hooked it up to a sponge filters do am happy with it. Cord length is good and it comes with some air hose,check valve and a air stone which is a nice added touch. It is also quiet which is a plus because I have another air pump from a different company and it drives me nuts because it’s so noisy. Over very nice little air pump.

this is the smallest air pump I have ever use and I must say that I am impressed with the power of this air pump, super quiet and also comes with air stone and Check Valve & Tube .have only been using it for Almost a week so far so good love the compact size great product designI highly recommend this mini air pump for smaller tank 30Gallons under

I wanted to like it but its not that quiet and not that powerful, and this is in comparison to the Tetra Whisper which is also not quiet. But this is less powerful. I wouldnt dare use it for over 5 gals and its not powerful enough for my 5.5 and Dwarf Pufferfish. Maybe for a betta

I don't hate this pump. It works really well and it is super tiny which works for me because I have very limited space. But, because it is so tiny, it cannot stand up by itself, and it bounces around everywhere like chatting teeth. I finally had it to nail it down which was hard because I have such limited space. When I did finally get this pump to stay put on its 4 legs, it is almost completely silent and it moves a bunch of air. Its very well done, kinda👌 but the design just needs a lower center of gravity and weight.

To test its airflow rate I filled a bag with 1 liter of water, attached the bag to the hose, and drained the liquid. Once the bag was empty, I attached the hose to the pump and timed how long it would take to reflate the bag. After about 2 minutes it had finished, which puts its flow rate at about 8 gallons per hour, a far cry from the rated 50.The pump itself is also quite noisy and vibrates a lot. While the noise alone I wouldn't consider loud, the vibrations I certainly would.As a aside, the check valve is garbage. The valve itself does not have enough clearance to move when under reasonable pressure, and when I increased the pressure it fell apart.

This is the loudest little device. It vibrates the heck out of anything it touches. I have tried to cover it with towels to reduce the noise. Its so annoying I have decided to keep it out of the tank . Waste of money if you have an inner ear issue and can't handle loud noises that are constantly abrupt.

Works good and makes very little noise. Fair bit of air for the tanks and good value for what it cost. Happy with product

So loud, had to return it, loudest one I've ever bought, unsure if it was a defective one or if this is just how this model is.

For the price, you can't go wrong. Does the trick and barely consumes energy off the plugs.
