Maglife Usa AMX30210 AMX Digital Thermometer with Integrated Food Clip and Scrub Pad for Aquariums

Everything is perfect except for the algae cleaning. ..also would be great if the screen has a light so you don't have to move around trying to read it.

I just needed a thermometer for my home brewing needs. This was cheaper than buying a room thermometer. Works great and sticks to any metal surface. I bought 3.2 stars since one had a bad LCD face. I tossed it. Didn't bother trying to get it replaced since it was so cheap and sold out. I bought 3 as the 3rd was a spare anyways.

I purchased the item Ma-001302-z and the item is completely useless. The magnet does not stay attached when the item is being moved across the aquarium glass. The clip for food is only good if the food is paper thin and also the scrubbing pad is starting to break down. I am very unhappy with the quality and the product performance. Also they ask you to contact them first and they do not respond. I would not recommend this to anyone

I had a suction cup, floating old style thermometer and after a while the suction cup wouldn't stick anymore and while floating it was difficult to read because it wasn't steady due to the water flow. About a year ago I bought the maglife thermometer and so far it has worked excellently. It's on a 15 gallon aqueon column tank and it is accurate because it is digital unlike my old "analog" thermometer. If you have a big aquarium and the glass is thick it might not work properly because it is held together with magnets, one inside and one outside the tank.I have two 6.6 gallon bookshelf tanks from petco, one with cherry shrimp, the other with blue shrimp and I'm planning on getting a couple more thermometers. Great product and I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my 10 gallon glass aquarium. It does not keep an accurate temperature. The temp. reading "probe" is on the outside of the tank. Its about 10 degrees lower than my traditional thermometer. My glass is less than 1/4 inch thick which is the requirements for the thing to work, but it doesn't. It might work better on an acrylic tank but I don't know. Anyway, great concept but doesn't work. Save your money and buy a $2 regular thermometer.

THE MAGLIFE DIGITAL THERMOMETER IS A PIECE OF CRAP. I INSTALLED IT ON MY 100 GL PLEXI TANK AND IT FELL OFF IN FIVE MINUTES. AS FOR AN ALGAE SCRAPPER IT ALSO FAILS. THIS PRODUCT MIGHT WORK IN A SMALL FISH BOWL BUT IS USELESS FOR AN AQUARIUM. I WOULD SEEK A REFUND, BUT SHIPPING COST EXCEEDS THE PRICE OF THE THERMOMETER.BEWARE THIS PRODUCT IS A JOKE.

I received the item and it was defective. I tried to return item and the company failed to refund my money. Had to fill with Amazon to help get my refund. DONT BUY THIS ITEM, IT DONT WORK AS NOTED.
