I was a little bit dubious about the single size feature of these when I bought them but having read around for a while (there's a few very similar listings of these leggings but this listing was great value and I wanted a pair in purple), I decided to grab them.I took a pair out of the packet and totally agreed with a remark I had read that I thought these were child sizes! Worry not. As long as you're average sized (sort of anything from a size 8 to 14 or maybe 16 depending on leg circumference), these should stretch and hug you. Sorry I can't be more specific, as I've read reviews where people said they were too tight and others who've said they're a 16 and fit great. I think you've definately got to fit the average size bracket on height, and circumference, if that makes sense. I don't think these will fit very curvy ladies and you might be pushing it a bit if you've above a size 16. If in doubt you can at least try them!They feel a bit like support tights to be honest, not loose and saggy. The seams are very reinforced and are double seamed like a gusset, making these what I can only describe as tights leggings. So, you've heard of jeggings... Meet teggings! They also have the extra part sewn in from the ankles down, which slips across the angle and foot. Great idea! And socks are still comfortable over the top.Inside, they are as soft as soft could be with a velvety plush warm lining. They are remarkably stretchy but hug close. The outer fabric has a slight sheen to it due to the high proportion of Lycra type fibres.As I said, they're a kind of hybrid between tights and leggings. The gusset style seams may not be to everyone's taste and I guess it really depends on how you choose to wear these. They're cracking teamed up with longer tops such as tunics. And very, very warm indeed. On the cold days we've had this week, they've kept me toasty warm whilst out and about. Personally, I love them, I've had super warm legs whilst dog walking this week. I bet they're great for apres ski wear.I hope my review might help others, as these are slightly unusual leggings that certainly had me questioning them on fabric/sizing/quality/fit/warmth before buying.I can't comment on longevity just yet, but I will return sometime and update on how well these are lasting the wash-wear cycle.Oh by the way, the purple are a beautiful shade, true purple as opposed to a shade of maroon.

Good quality leggings for the price. I'm a 16/18 and just about wiggled myself into these, with a bit of pulling and stretching, although they were comfortable once I got them on (and they held everything in). They are quite stretchy, a lycra feel to the outside, and the fleece inside is nice and soft. Think they'll keep my legs warm in the coming months.

Ordered two sizes bigger after reading other reviews, however I found the leggings to be a very, very small fit. I did put them on, but they were very uncomfortable because they were so tight. They also had two seams running up the back and front of them which were also very uncomfortable. I might have misread the original description, but I dont remember reading that they had deep cuffs around the ankles. Altogether very disappointed. On a plus note, if you could get a pair to fit, they do feel very thick and of good quality and are of a good length.

very thick and fleecy.down side, very tight to put on. I'm a size 12, and getting these up over my thighs and to sit comfortably is a task. there is a big ridge of seams running up the crotch area, so you would need to wear these with a long top, otherwise they would def look like long johns.they are certainly tight, probably will double up as compression stockings, so not only will your legs be warm, there will be little chance of a DVT either!

I like these, they keep me warm in winter when I am up at the stables, or walking the dogs. They wash well, and haven't bobbled. Would buy again.

Lovely and soft but a bit of a squeeze to get in and nowhere near long enough for someone who's almost 5'10. They barely came to my ankle let alone over my heel as pictured! Sadly i will be returning them.

Gorgeous! So warm and comfortable, they make a real difference as my legs get so cold in the winter. I would recommend these

Very comfortable and the fleece lining is definitely making a difference. Much warmer than ordinary leggings. They look nice and go very nicely with boots and long tops, skirts etc.
