Universal UNV10417 13-1/2 in. Deluxe Indoor/Outdoor Atomic Clock - Black Frame, White Face

I ordered this clock even though I was concerned about the negative reviews and warning about not have the clock near electric lines or computers. I also was concerned because my room is half below ground level. Well, I put a battery into it, push the EST button, and put it on the wall about 3 feet about my computer and less than a foot above my monitor. Within a few minutes, the time was 3 hours behind our time. I took it off the wall and held in the EST button for a few seconds. The clock sped up and within a minute had the right time. It appears that you have to firmly press and hold the time zone buttons. The clock is very quite. The clock is very readable.

Very nice clock and so easy to set up. I set the time zone and day light savings time, put in the battery and it set itself overnight. Nothing could be easier. Runs quiet and keeps time perfectly.

This replaced an outdoor atomic clock that also was radio controlled, and it worked fine. This clock doesn't acquire the WWV signal at all. I'll give it a couple of days before returning it. Also, be aware that while this is a nice-looking clock, it's very much NOT an outdoor clock as the description says. It's pure plastic and the movement in the back, appears completely open in places so water could get into it.

Purchased this clock in March 2024. Loved it at first. Worked flawlessly. Today, not working at all. I do have it outdoors which it stated in the description that it could be used outdoors, but it has quit. Changed the battery, reset it and it is motionless. Would love to keep a clock out by the pool, but this is discouraging as it won’t work. Gave it the two stars simply because it did work like it was supposed to. Now three months later, a flop.

I purchased 2 of these for our tennis courts. First of all, the face of the clock is barely over 9". The hands are thin plus sunlight shining from behind make it really difficult to read the time from any kind of distance. You can see the time only if you are standing close. I'm sure these would work fine for inside the lanai or anywhere the sun can't directly shine on the back.

I actually removed the hands and mechanism of two of these clocks and was able to make them fit it in an outdoor clock that couldn't keep accurate time. Just switched the mechanisms. It works great and this clock keeps accurate time summer and winter.

I have two of these. Just ordered another. They set themselves from the NIST time signal -- always accurate. This location (DC area) may be at the practical limit of the time signal's range. In some locations in my house the clock does not get the signal. The instructions say it cannot be used with a rechargeable battery, but I have been using rechargeables in mine with no problems.

Large clock so it's easy to see from anywhere in my yard. It's out of the weather but not the humidity so I'll see if it handles that as it is ind/out compatible. Pretty sure it will be fine.
