Great Gift for Science Lovers
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas as a stocking stuffer. We both enjoy science-oriented gifts, and this was a lot of fun. You get a good amount of putty, and it's great to knead, stretch and twist. The included black light is sufficient, but the putty fades quickly when exposed to it. We already had a more powerful UV light, which definitely made the putty more interesting. You can experiment with it both with the lights on (the putty turns purple under UV) and with them off (it will glow green). One downside is that the putty is initially very difficult to get out of the tin because of the plastic packaging designed to protect the included UV light. Other than that, it was great fun.

Great product!
My daughter is fascinated with this putty! It keeps her entertained and helps her focus while doing her homework. She loves the fact that it changes colors once exposed to the sun and the little black-light that comes included. It was SUPER hard to open since it had melted (probably bc it was hot outside) but once we broke the seal we were good to go! Best price that I've seen compared to others going for $13+.

Great
Crazy Aaron's is really good putty. Yes, the tin is hard to open at first and starts off messy, but that is just due to travel of package. The stretch is good, it never dried out, no residue left behind. I will say that the purple glow in the daylight is extremely hard to see unless you are in harsh light, but the green glow in the dark is vibrant and great.

Just ok
Very hard to open as the product leaked around the lid. The UCLA light was in a baggie that was encased in the putty itself and was a bit difficult to clean off.

Fun for kids AND grown ups
This stuff is AMAZING. The putty is super reactive to UV light and gives a beautiful royal purple color where the light has been. On top of reacting with color, it glows in the dark, how cool is that? The glow from the putty is bright and long lasting as far as glow in the dark items go.I bought this as a gift for my daughters 7th birthday, but I'll probably end up playing with it just as much as her! It's mesmerizing, to say the least.Wish I had some as a kid!

The putty does not stink or leave your hands a mess.
I bought fours tins of Crazy Aaron’s thinking putty. Firestorm did not change colors but works and feels amazing. Mystic Glacier is the best! Lots of fun. Wizards Wand is outstanding as is the magnetic Tidal Wave— this one is way fun! As this is my first purchase of thinking putty I’ll need time to fully appreciate these made in America products. Outlook very good!

A great gift for anyone that likes fun!
Crazy Aaron's thinking putty is fantastic! Our family has many different kinds, and we regularly purchase tins as gifts for our friends and family. The light-reactive kind is a lot of fun to play with, and a great toy for scientifically minded children. ..actually, a great gift for adults too!

Very Disappointing
We have purchased other varieties of Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty and thoroughly enjoyed them. However the Mystic Glacier Putty is advertised as coming with a black light on a key ring. There was a plastic molded place in the container for such a key ring, but it was missing. The unique thing about this putty is changing it's color with a black light. With out the black light, it's pretty lame. It was a gift for my daughter and she was very disappointed when we realized the light was missing. Her brother and sister got some of their own. I would have liked to return it, but she would rather have something damaged then nothing at the time.
