Easy install. Works great. Incredibly good value for these parts. Saved over $100 from a local repair shop on parts. Labor would have been another 100 bucks or more.

This is absolutely perfect. Get the whole kit so you don’t have to guess as to which part is bad, replace it all and you basically have a new dryer. Perfect purchase for the price!!

Easy to install

This may be a new upgraded model as stated, and if that is true I cannot fathom what poor quality the element it replaced was. I purchased this on Feb,15,2020. The 3977767 Dryer Thermostat was delivered damaged. I used the original and installed the element. It worked great through the month of March. Starting April 6th my wife said the dryer wasn't drying the clothes correctly. I actually convinced her she did not set the timer to the correct time. That only worked once. Every time she used the dryer she had to run it 20 minutes over the original set time. After 42 years of drying clothes I was quite sure her complaints were valid. After the quick meter tests, all parts checked out. Come to find out, and I won't be able to live it down, my wife was correct, the element is not getting hot enough any longer. The coils look as though they are about to be burnt through. To add insult to injury, it is past the return date. It is a cheap price, coupled with good advertisement wording, but having to purchase a new coil every two months may get a little pricey. In all fairness, I did contact Customer service about the damaged Dryer Thermostat. They refunded part of the purchase price for the damaged part and were willing to work with me on a return and replace solution. I did not follow up on it because the element was installed and working. I hate doing things twice. Glad I didn't waste my time like I did with my money. After my experience the element, I feel replacing a inferior product with the same is not a solution. My advice is simple to anyone reading this review, Instead of having your money refunded and still need to search and purchase another one elsewhere, I would highly suggest you bite the bullet and purchase Part Number:AP3094254 a Genuine Whirlpool part from a appliance parts center for approx. 48 dollars, install it once and it will last for years. My mistake, I should have practiced life's lesson, you get what you pay for! I would not recommend this product.

Perfect fit. No altering

Well my dryer works again so it did what it was supposed to!

I ordered the replacement kit around 3:00P and it arrived the next morning at 7:00A! Unfortunately, the heating element and housing wasn’t an exact fit, but I straightened the tabs, removed it from the heat shield, and was able to slide it into the chamber. Overall, I’m still pleased with the product and the speed of delivery! Will definitely buy again if ever necessary.PLUS: This kit comes with additional fuses and sensors. Over 1 month since replacing the heat coil, I just made a second repair to the same dryer by replacing a bad thermal fuse. Well worth the mo ey for this kit!

I've had this installed in my Kenmore dryer for two years now and it is performing excellently.

This kit works great and easy to install.

I purchase this product in April 2021 and by August 2021 it has failed. My dryer would not heat up so I removed the heating element and preformed and continuity test on it which failed. I also preformed continuity tests on the thermal fuse and thermostats which passed. This product did not provide me with value for money and I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Only one thing I found: the thermostat piece does not fit properly, so I had to make modifications to it.
