Not easy pieces by any means. However, for those who have learned many of the 'Microjazz' pieces they will be a familiar style. Careful fingering and slow practise is essential in learning these pieces.

Very nice pieces for beginners. Bought for the Grade 7 piece and was surprised by the other pieces too. I will be using this book for my other students too. Can only recommend if you or your student want alternative modern (jazz-rock), good sounding piano music.

I bought this book for my grade 7 ABRSM piano exam. I have only played one piece from this book but it does seem like a good selection of songs. The play-along CD is very useful

Great book, bought for grade 7 piece Sturdy Build, fun piece which isn't too hard to learn. Also other fun strong pieces, I find myself frequently going to the book and playing a few pieces.

Great collection of Jazz/Rock inspired piano pieces.

Collection of more advanced pieces - grades 6 to 8 - fun to play and listen to, many would be good performance pieces. CD includes solo piano performance of each piece, then piano with backing, then just the backing to play along to.

An excellent book, with CD included. Bought for a piano pupil to choose an alternative Grade 5 ABRSM piece. The CD is very helpful, though the preformance tracks also include drums, which can be off-putting when trying to use the CD to learn the piece. However, it will be fun to play along, once learned properly.
