Very useful to control appliances plugged into outlets without having to manually reach for on-off switches on each device. When dealing with syncing more than one plug with the remote I found it most straightforward to first unsync everything and then add each plug one at a time. The manufacturer makes different versions that can handle different amperages so make sure you select one that is ample for the power drain by the intended device. For example I was at first going to get one version but noticed it could only handle 10 amps while the heater I was going to use it with draws 13 amps. I found nearly the same thing but in a 15 amp version, which made me feel much more comfortable as to safety.

Works GREAT! Bought 2. Easily paired one remote with 4 adapters. Super easy to pair. Good directions. Remote works thru walls almost 80 ft away. I didn't try any further.These work MUCH better than Dewenwils similar product which were intermittent and distance was not good. I also like that these outlet adapters are A LOT smaller than Dewenwils.It would be nice if you could buy just the outlet adapters.Wish I had found these before I bought the other brand.I was not compensated for this review.

This is my second set from LoraTap… I got my first set a couple years ago for my first baby’s room. We’re still using those with no issues. We have lamps around the room plugged in to the outlets and hung the remote by the door. The two on/off buttons make it so I can have an ‘all on/all off’ switch and a ‘one lamp on’ switch for when I want it darker in there, like when he’s first waking up or for overnight diaper changes and feeds. He’s moving to a ‘big boy’ room now, so I just got another set. Now they’re making them in this smaller/wider shape which leaves more space on the outlet for another plug. The round ones (older model I had that they still sell) made it harder to fit another plug, so I’m even happier with these!

I have some plug in workshop lighting that is connected to my garage light circuit. When I turn on the garage lights, all the lights come on. I don't want all of them on every time I turn on the lights. With the remote control outlets, I can turn off the ones I don't want on. When I do want them on, I just hit the remote.A plus is the magnetic remote switch that I can keep on my steel toolbox.I will be purchasing more of these outlets.

We had some antique button plugs that were at least 4 inches bigger than these and took up the whole outlet no matter what order. These are great, had them for months now. I do wish someone would make a product that has both a remote (for the olds) and wifi for the phone. Oh well it'll come someday

I’ve had several remote light clickers and love them but needed a dual outlet remote for my Christmas tree lights and star on top. I was having to manually plug in the lights then the star and it was a pain getting around the gifts to the outlet. This solved my problem and it was so easy to set up! Makes it so much more fun to just push a button! When Christmas is over I can use it for other lamps in the house!

This has worked really well for my purposes. I use them in my office to turn on UVC germicidal lights when I'm out of the room. It works even through my heavy door, and the magnet is nice because (with an additional strong magnet) I can stick it to my metal doorframe while the UVC lights are running, and (with the base) it sticks to my filing cabinets inside the room.There's a little click sound when it turns on or off, and I suppose that's important to some people.

Very simple to install, just plug in the adaptors and your lights or whatever you plan to use. What I like most is the magnetic remote. It's cute looking, not like others I've seen and researched. The stick and peel is very strong so be sure of where you want to put the magnetic backing. I placed mine next to the main light switch and I'm using mine for my fairy lights that does not have a switch and it was always a pain to plug it in and out to turn it on/off and for a lamp that is not hardwired. The lamp switches on instantly with the remote and with the fairy lights there is a half second lag but it is not shocking- doesn't bother me at all. Overall, it is a great little product and will probably get some more in the future for another room in the house.
