Babysoy Janey Baby Hat

Cute hat. As expected. Good for fall or spring. Would need something warmer for winter if in a seasonal climate.

I was going on a couple different flights (to paris, amsterdam, vegas) all with a 5.5 month old, and I wanted a hat that I could pull over her eyes on the plane to stop the light from going through. I already had a hat that I loved so I didn't expect to use this at all except as a sleep mask. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hat is super soft, and very customizable to be as large or small as you would like. My baby is just over 5.5 months, she is 50% head size, but 98% in height and weight. We got the 12-24 months which fit her with room to spare, but it was perfect for her. I'm not sure if it runs small though as the hat is very stretchy so I think you would get a lot of use out of it.As far as its use as a sleep mask, it was perfect - thin, breathable, the fabric so nice and soft. I just kept it folded over her head, and then when she fell asleep, I would just roll it down. No need to worry about it suffocating her. I wouldn't use this has a hat if it is really cold outside, but on a nice fall day it would be fine.The shape is surprisingly adorable, and we really liked the color (wineberry), which was true to monitor color.

I love BabySoy products in general. Our baby is decked out in BabySoy most of the time due to the great quality of these products. When our baby was born most hats I had for her were waaaay too small, even though she was an average size baby (7lbs 3oz) & average head circumference. The only thing that fit was the hospital hat. Then I got these BabySoy ones because everyone said they fit newborns well. I just don't get it. These hats are just as huge as most other hats out there. Our baby is now 2 month old and this hat is still kinda too big for her. Although the cone design is suuuper cute when it's on the baby, it compounds the problem of being too big. Since the hat is so long and the material is soft and stretchy, the hat keeps going lower and lower on the baby's head (and face!) when she moves her head around in the stroller. Then she starts crying because her eyes are covered by the hat.I'll keep these as I am sure I will get to use them when she is older/bigger but disappointed in not having a decent NEWBORN hat from BabySoy.

This hat is of very soft lightweight material. It's a great option for autumn and spring days when you don't want baby's head to be unprotected but it's not cold out for a winter hat. It is hard to find a lightweight beanie for mild weather, and I doubt you could find a nicer hat than this one. It looks cute on baby and is stretchy so that it fit my son's head when most baby/toddler hats are too small for him. He wore the 12-24 month size at around 12 months old. It is our favorite hat because it is soft, cute and compact. I recently purchased another one, for my cousin, because I think it's a great hat, and I'll purchase more for other babies I know. My only complaint is they don't make it in another size up!

My package came on time like promised. Baby hat itself was wrapped in extra plastic protector which I always appreciate. Baby has not been born yet so I can say how it fits exactly. I have already washed and dried the hat and after one wash it looks and feels amazing. The hat is definitely a little on the larger size which is very nice so that baby can grow into. I will be buying this baby hat in some more colors as I really like the material and way the baby hat is made.

Love the stretch on these without them being too tight or too loose. I have only found one other hat to stay on my kiddo's head and I've tried soooooo many. These are wonderfully soft, super cute on (look kind of odd in pick without a model), and wear really well for us. They can sit far enough forward on the forehead and cover the ears as well. It's a 0-6 size and I'm at the middle with a 3 mo old. My little one has an upside down triangle face so these are great for him. I wish I had pajamas in this fabric. Truly soft and luxurious! Only just started using them so I can 't speak to long-term elasticity or washing.

This hat is so cute and unique, and it fit perfectly on my newborn's head. It even stretched a little, so he was able to wear it for a couple of months. It was a little big for him when he was brand new, but he was wearing it around 2-3 weeks old. This may or may not help you with sizing because every baby's different.It didn't seem to bother my little guy to have this stocking cap on his head, and he isn't a big fan of hats. I always prefer to have quality materials on my baby's body, so this was a good find. Careful in the wash with fading and the knot coming undone. I would purchase again.
