Ariat Women's Heritage R Toe Western Boot

I love these boots! I used to have the brown leather years ago, but I just bought the black deertan. Right away I noticed these are a softer leather than the brown, and they were immediately very comfortable. They have great arch support, the heel is the perfect height, and the leather is high quality.They were a bit tight when I first got them, but all I did was put on some thick socks and used a hair dryer to heat up and stretch the leather and wore them for a few hours around the house to let them mold to my feet. Just be careful not to damage the leather and to condition them well after. It worked great and now my boots fit perfectly.I'm only 5ft 1in, so sometimes boots are a little too high for me and I look like my legs are being swallowed up. But these are only 11in tall, so they only go up about halfway on my calves, which is perfect! The embroidery on the side is beautiful and adds the perfect amount of elegance to these reliable boots. They're not too heavy so they're comfortable to wear all day and everyday. I'm sure once these wear out like my old ones I will definitely buy another pair! These are the best boots I've ever owned!

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. They were a perfect fit. They are comfortable and don't hurt her feet after hours of wearing them. The leather has broken in nicely and they have formed rather well around her feet. The stitching quality is superb and the soles are of quality construction.

These are my first pair of cowboy boots ever so I was a little worried about possibly not liking the fit or look of them, however I was pleasantly surprised!QUALITY: The boots are great quality and are made very well. It is obvious from the quality of the boots themselves and their pristine packaging that the company takes great pride in their product. The boots are wrapped individually in plastic and a boot tree made of cardboard and paper is inserted inside each boot to preserve their form during shipping.LOOK/COMFORT: The boots are very cute and also very comfortable! They look great with jeans or even with shorts or skirts. Since this is my first pair of boots I was a bit worried that they would be uncomfortable, but I just put them to a very good test this past weekend by walking all around the French Quarter in New Orleans for a day. I wore them literally from about 9 AM until just past midnight when we got back to our hotel room and my feet did not hurt at all. Anyone who has been to New Orleans' French Quarter knows you'll do a lot of walking there and the streets aren't always the nicest but these boots held up great and left my tootsies feeling just fine!SIZING:As other reviewers have mentioned the sizes do run a little big so order about a half size down from what you normally wear. I normally wear either a 9.5W or 10W depending on the shoe. I originally ordered a 9.5W and it was a bit too long, but the width was good so I exchanged them for a 9W and they fit great! Just for general purposes, I'm including this link on how to properly fit a cowboy boot since it's a little bit different in some respects than fitting a regular shoe and it may help you when deciding what size to order. These Boots Are so comfortable and beautiful and I got them for a lot cheaper because they were a resale and they were in perfect condition in the original box. Definitely real leather as soon as I open the box I could smell the leather I don't know why they were returned but I'm sure glad they did.

OK, I've been shopping for these boots for over six months.... They're replacing a pair of Justin's I've worn for close to 10 years. Yeah, I like my boots. The ONLY reason I'm replacing my Justin's is because the sole's can't be replaced, and they are so slick, I was leaving the grocery with a full cart and was going down an incline, there was a truck coming who had no intention of stopping, and when I tried to stop, the soles of my boots just laughed and slid all the way down the parking lot. I LITERALLY almost got run over by the idiot who wouldn't stop!At that point I decided I MIGHT need to retire the Justin's. (BEGRUDGINGLY!) Well, I finally found the Ariat's (Couldn't find Justin's like what I had... ). EXACTLY what I wanted - same color, same EVERYTHING.... watched them for OVER six months to be sure.... (I'm a broke college student - $150 was a TON to put into new boots, even if I WAS going to wear them for 10 years (yeah, I hear you laughing.... so did my Dad)).I FINALLY ordered them and sat on the front steps every day waiting on the "Big Brown Dog (UPS)" to arrive. I about tackled him when he DID arrive..... Well..... he was late... by two days!!!! Wound up having to call Amazon to find out where my boots were. DISSAPOINTMENT #1. But I was SOOOOO ANXIOUS, I was forgiving (besides, I had already slobbered on the UPS guy, I had to make up for it!)..... so I continued to wait.....I felt like Ralphie getting his Red Rider B-B gun in The Christmas Story!!!! and I about ripped the box out of Mr. UPS's hands.... I went downstairs and unwrapped my new boots like a kid at christmas! Then when I opened the box, my eyes literally teared up.....The insides of the boots were not finished - meaning where the two sides of the leather (front and back) are brought together and stitched from bottom to top (south to north) it was a raw seam. For those who do not wear boots on a regular basis - this may not seem like a big deal. Anyone who wears boots knows exactly what I'm talking about.EVEN my Justin's had a finished seam on the inside, and I've always heard that Ariat's are supposed to be such a "better" brand than Justin..... Anyway - Long way to get to the bottom of the story - Ariat's are fine - fit great - look great - love them with the exception of the unfinished seam.Unfinished seam will Wear your socks, pull your socks down all day long, and rub your ankles - maybe not badly - maybe a lot - depends on the person, but this was a BIG deal to me. I was going to send them back, but it took me so long to find these, my Dad saw how heartbroken I was, he told me, "just keep them - if they don't work out, we'll get you something else!" Leave it to Daddy to make me feel better!Hope this helps!

Wore these straight out of the box and omg these are comfier than the Ariat Roper Boots (which I did get on sale) but I think it's worth the price tag. I was looking for a boot that:- Doesn't have a flamboyant design that screams "cowboy boots" from afar- Black- Easy to take off & put on- Comfortable to walk inThese Ariat Heritage R Toe boots checks every aspect! Even at this price point, part of me is contemplating another pair.I can't say how durable it is as I haven't worn it for years, but I do sincerely hope that they do NOT discontinue this style. It's classic, and comfortable and I want to wear 'em forever!

already had these exact ones from Ariat in brown that i got second hand on ebay, so i already knew the Ariat boot quality. I feel like between the release of my brown ones that are used and the black boots I received in this order, the quality of the boot making overall has improved, the cushioning is fantastic and they’re just an overall really sturdy boot. I get so many compliments on them when I wear them also. Go with your true size, i bought a 9.5, and for reference I wear a women’s 9 in Converse, 9.5 in Vans, 9 in Doc Martens, 41 in New Rocks. hope this helps someone!

I purchase this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She has tiny wide feet and she loves Ariat boots for the fit and look. I took a chance and order these boots and they fit comfortably. Excellent product.
