Pickling Spice Mix, (450g)

Used these a couple of months ago to prepare a dozen jars of pickled onions with. Probably as good as any I’ve bought before, and certainly good value when I bought them. I’ve sealed the unused spices in a jar for next time, as I used only a third of the pack.They’ve given a nice flavour to the picking vinegar, but I must admit to adding a dried chilli or two to a few jars to make them hotter.

The price was immediately competitive but the ad showed off the product well. If they arrived as advertised, what could go wrong?? Nothing. They came very quickly and when I opened the bag, the aroma was magnificent, the dried spices all good quality & at their freshest, if that makes sense? I use them to flavour cold malt vinegar for for days on end for a much admired family Piccalilli. I might tell them the secret one day. Praps. 😊

Very nice, good value, but by golly those chillies are strong! Pull them out, and their residual effect on the other spices will be plenty for whatever you're pickling.

Always high quality items at a reasonable price. Now buying all like product here.

I've only boiled off a small amount in water to get an idea for the flavour but it's looking good.Spice mix looks fantastic and is great value.

Good value. No instructions for quantity to use which would help anyone new to pickling.
