I don’t know what I was expecting, but it’s a waste for me. Its full of drawing ideas. If it was a cut out it would serve my purpose.

There are A LOT of different images and even some lettering. Very easy to follow directions or just simple enough to copy by sight or even trace. The book shows the drawings and images on dot grid paper, which also helps as a guide. I found that this book also helped spark my own creativity once I got in and started doodling. I was happy with the the art that I have already drawn and painted by using this book as inspiration. I was impressed by the quality of the book, it was made very well and on nice paper! It's a great guide book for people wanting to start out in the journaling world. It has suggestions and pictures of supplies you can use. I found the Author of this book on YouTube, she has her own channel. I wanted to expand my confidence and skills with simple doodles and I think this book will do that for me and you too. So I do recommend this to anyone looking for a good doodle inspiration book.

It’s so crazy because there aren’t a lot of instructions but the ones she does provide, create a mindset to allow you to see the basic elements of how to do a particular type of doodle and it works!

If you have seen her YouTube videos, you know Helen has put a lot of thought into this book. It has many ideas to inspire you and guide you through journaling, particularly the decoration of it. It has an introduction to the process of journaling and materials to use. But the bulk of the book is about doodles, banners, drawings and icons to decorate your journals with. Each section has one exercise. Be mindful that the book doesn't include instructions for every drawing. If you are into journaling, but you think you can't draw, give this book a chance.

Amazing book and great resource for people that want to start in the world of journals. This is my first time doing journals and the ideas and doodles examples are great for start with creativity.

As with Helen's other book it has alot of ideas for journalling. It would be nice to see more 'How to's but that wouldn't be possible as well as including so many doodle examples. So basically it does what it says on the cover. I like it

Dit boek bevat veel kleine, simpele, maar vooral mooie tekeningen die makkelijk na te maken zijn. Voor mij, iemand die niet erg getalenteerd is qua tekenen, is dit een mooie manier om mijn bullet journal op te leuken. Er staan naast wat informatie over bullet journaling en alle tekeningen ook wat lettertypes in. Dit is, naast mijn handletter boek, de beste aankoop die ik heb gedaan om mijn bullet journaling tot een hoger niveau te tillen. Als je net als ik niet zo goed kan tekenen, en je wil ook wat mooie handgetekende illustraties in je boek maken, misschien is dit dan ook wat voor jou. Op YouTube staat een recensie waarbij het boek doorgebladerd wordt. Daar kun je goed zien of de stijl en tekeningen jou aanspreken
