My garage is clean again!
I love these boxes. They are pretty thick steel and have a grey enamel paint that is perfect for my garage. I now have 14 of these organizing all my nuts, bolts, screws, electrical connectors, you name it. The same manufacturer makes a bunch of different layouts too so I could get one with these 16 pockets, and some with 24 for smaller things like 3 though 6mm hex cap screws. I like that I can pull these out and carry them around by the handle without the parts inside getting all mixed up. The metal clasp on the front holds it closed without any issues so far, even when I am tossing them around in my truck.I got two of the sliding racks to fit these cases, they fit perfect between my shelves in the garage. What used to take up almost half a wall is now about 4 foot by 2 foot.

lasts forever won't dry rot
These parts bins are great for work trucks to organize small parts like screws bolts nuts anchors wire nuts I used to have clear plastic organizers but they did not last very long and in very cold weather the plastic becomes brittle and breaks easy. The Durham metal Parts bins hold up to harsh conditions.

Fantastic for small parts, durable & portable
I really like these compartmented boxes for small parts. I have four of them marked with the four Cardinal Directions (N= Nuts, E= Electrical, Screws, and Washers). 😀. They are small enough to tote to the house or driveway for tasks, and with 16 compartments they permit keeping a wide selection in each box. The lid closes snugly and securely, not allowing enemy small, thin washers to move between compartments. The individual compartments are fixed. They have rounded bottoms on the front and rear edged so you can drag small items out from the bottom. This means you won't have the hassle of trying to pick up a small flat washer with a fingernail.

Solid workshop storage
I love the Durham storage boxes. I have 9 the large ones and 18 of thesmall ones. I use them to organize small parts in the workshop. Forwhatever reason, the 16 compartment is the cheapest of the smallboxes. I would prefer the 24 a lot of the time, but you can't beat theprice on the 16. Because of the price, I don't hesitate to modify thelayout. A sharp utility knife will cut the plastic just fine, makingit easy to get custom layouts with little effort. I have attached apicture of one I modified to hold a dremel style tool.

Great parts box.
These are great parts boxes and, being metal, much more reliable than the cheap plastic that you would get at Amazon or any big-box store. If you get them at a good price on Amazon they're well worth the money. Even the 6 and 9 drawer holders are reasonably priced. I use a lot of these.

Excellent!
The plastic compartment liner lifts out if you don’t need it and makes this box less expensive than the version without the compartments! I needed a larger box for my Roper Whitney punch after adding more dies. This was the only suitable box I could find, and it’s perfect. Similar metal box from an industrial supplier was over $100.

Four Stars
Good quality in spite of a small corner broken off of the insert.
