Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Vol. 2: Cosmic Cooties (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, 2)

Moon Girl Is Always Worth Reading
There's no other way of putting it. This all ages comic is a delight and a genuine joy to read through. Luna's wanting to be recognised purely for her intellect is a relatable story, even if her experiences with the terrigan mist aren't so much. Throw in a cameo from your girl Ms Marvel and its another solid volume.

Another access-all-ages fun book but with serious undertones (and the latest Kree Captain Marvin!)
This volume collects issues #7-12 of this new access-all-ages series . The lead character is 9-year-old Lunella Lafayette, a super-genius in the Marvel tradition who is doing badly at school because she is too clever for her own good. Also, she has the Inhuman gene and begins the story awakening from her cocoon...While Lunella waits for her mutation to present itself, a 9-year-old Kree kid, tired of his father’s constant complaining about him not living up to his heritage, decides to capture one of the fabled, if not legendary, Inhumans to prove his worth, and heads off to infiltrate P.S. 20 to stalk his prey, the weakest of all Inhumans, according to the Kree internet. The path of true conquest doesn’t always go smoothly, however, especially when Lunella’s Inhuman power finally/apparently kicks in; that and a Lego competition for New York’s schools, which Lunella is determined to win, in order to escape her captivity in the public school system (a different public school system to the British one, I must add; though no less oppressive to the non-intellectually challenged). The important bit: it is very entertaining; it also has serious undertones about people who do not fit in at school due to being ‘different’ from their classmates. It also has Ms Marvel, the latest in a long line of Kree warriors who lose sight of their mission once they begin to interact with humans, and a big red dinosaur; and Lego! Batman is not going to get it all his own way there! It works. I don’t know how, but it does.

Arrived damaged
This is a great book and would definitely recommend! However, whomever packed it in the box ruined it as a gift. The cover has frayed edges. Pages in the middle are folded in and damaged. And the back cover has a big dent/scratch. This is my daughters favourite book and was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but it looks like it's from the damaged section of the library! Very disappointed!
