Flimsy, but it fits
I spent far longer than I should have, trying to find a toilet seat that fits. Usually go for Bemis STA-TITE which are brilliant... sturdy, good looking (as far as toilet seats go) and do not budge. But sadly, the toilet in my new house is of a shape more popular in America, and finding a seat here in Blighty was extremely frustrating. This one is the right size and shape. That's why it gets three stars. But it feels cheap and nasty, the plastic is thin and flexes, and the fittings are equally flimsy. The soft-close mechanism is odd—when you fully raise the seat, it springs back a little, enough to start closing again. But if you hold it in place for a couple of seconds it stays put.It has a quick release feature for cleaning, and to activate it you have to squeeze two plastic pins together. Needless to say, these bend and feel ready to snap, and the springs they operate are equally flimsy.Part of me wishes I'd just ripped out the loo and got a new one.But... it fits. Yay.

OK I suppose........but beware dodgy fittings
First up - quick delivery as always so thanks for that. As others have said it does appear to be a bit flimsy and only time will tell if it is up to the job of supporting my manly frame whilst I am sat on my throne. Appearance wise it is good and fits my loo shape perfectly. The instructions, such as they are, are simple to follow so no issues there and really it is not rocket science anyway. My gripe is with the fittings. The screws are not really long enough and the nut at the bottom fell off as I was putting it into the hole in the loo where it needs to be secured and as I was not able to recover it, it is now lost for all eternity. Thankfully I had not yet discarded my old seat so could re-purpose the fittings from that. It is now held in place tightly and seems secure but with all these top fitting loo seats, I guess it will only be a matter of time before it becomes loose. Price wise, I am happy. I have paid much more for loo seats in the past and have not yet been convinced of the benefit of paying more but getting more or less the same product. Perhaps if it played a fanfare as I entered the bathroom I would be happy to pay more but for now, I am content with this.

Lighter in weight than old old one. Fits okay and looks fine.
Replace old one that looked stained, despite constant cleaning.(without cleaning products)Now looks clean and fresh, so much easier to clean.

Cheap, bendy plastic
While it is comfortable to rest your weight on it has an uncomfortable shape. It's made of soft cheap bendable plastic that makes you question if it could take the weight of a heavier set person. For context, I weigh about 170lbs/12st and I worry about this. The best thing about this seat is that it's extremely easy to clean, but I couldn't recommend the product.
