My yearling ball python got in for the first time but then got herself completely wedged. The bottom of this hide is closed so cannot be lifted off. The bowl at the top, where the water goes, dips very low into the middle space inside the hide. My baby girls head was wedged underneath it and she was so rightly coiled around this hump that she couldn't manoeuvre out. I knew there was something wrong when she didn't come out of this (cool side) hide for 3 days. Her body had started to swell through the opening. We had to use pliers to break off small sections at a time to free her. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. You can see how much of it had to be broken away before we could free her in the photos attached. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS HIDE FOR ANY SNAKE.

My gecko loves this, but never leaves it. Because it's a one piece item I can only get her out by tipping her out gently, which is very undignified for the little critter and perhaps a bit stressful for her. Would be perfect as a two piece hide.

Looks really good. Hoping my tarantula likes it too. The dipped tops allow for extra pools in the habitat which will help with the humidity levels. All in all very happy.

I am so disappointed! It’s one solid piece, you can’t get the gecko out of it, unless you turn it over and shake which stresses the animal out, this is horrible. To clean inside is a nightmare, you’ve got to use thin long brush.

Got this for my 6 week old leo and he/she loves it went in it straight away using a moist hide will see how it goes with this. I got a large as it deeps down a bit in the middle. The only thing is its hard to clean out as it doesn't separate. Which would be better .

My leopard gecko used it seconds after I had put this in her viv. She loves it i got her the large one as it's easier for her to move and turn around in with no trouble at all.

Brilliant! Perfect little size for my baby corn snake. She took to it right away and it is now her favourite hide! Does what it says it will do, creates a perfect mini humid environment which helps your pet through the shedding process.
