I gave up on these unique, delicious, hard candy that i wished would never end until i saw this new yellow packaging. I thought what the heck, lets give it another try. Jackpot!!! Ding ding ding ding!!!! Same great taste i remembered. Chili coating on previous version would melt and turn all dark and really sour. Not only that, the formula was so inconsistent ranging from all red to dark orange, some with stripes some with none. It was bad to the point it would have you running to the bathroom and coming out the other end as to how it went in. It was that nasty. Old version's bag has more red at the top and i don't think it says " hey, good looking!". These new Vero Mango is orange with yellow stripes once you get past the chili powder. Chili powder is perfect even from sitting in a 110 degree garage waiting for me to come home from work and give it some love. Lets just say my tongue is soar but very satisfied. Lol.Thank you for listening and remaking the best candy. For those who dislike the the flavor, wash the candy under warm water to wash off the chili/tamarind and get to the good stuff. You'll be in love and will eventually eat it as is. This is how i introduce the candy to people who taste it with the tip of their tongue instead of sticking the whole thing in like a trooper. I love these lollipops. I first tried one when I was a teenager, then I recently (randomly) remembered it and decided to check Amazon. Oh, the joy that ensued upon discovering that I can order them BY THE CASE with Prime shipping! When I let other people try them, they're violently disgusted, but NGL it only adds to my enjoyment. Spicy, sweet and salty. I feel like they're a reflection of my personality. You have to get through the initial layer which I think is just straight up salt and chili powder, but once you reach the point where the mango comes through these things are epic. Moment of Truth: I throw them away once I lick all the chili coating off.

If you just stumbled upon this product and have never tried spicy candy then you probably aren't going to enjoy these. If you know what you're getting into, these pops taste great and are a superb value. My only gripe with them is that the mango pop itself is a little too sweet in my opinion, which becomes apparent once you get to the center or bite it. Overall very well worth the price.

A friend of mine is from Arizona and her mom used to send her a candy box every year for her birthday and these would always be in it. I couldn't find them anywhere due to living in rural WV. So I came to Amazon and boom! There they were. My kids LOVE them. I love them! Fast delivery and they are very fresh! Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

These were for my grandson and his mother. They think they are wonderful. I think they are totally disgusting tasting thus the middle of the row rating. She would be at the top and I would be at the bottom.

This candy is so full of different kinds of flavor. It’s delicious! The lime mixed with the pepper and sweet just explodes in your mouth with every lick. It’s also much fresher than the ones you get in the store. If you like spicy, try it. It’s just flavorful, not hot at all! It makes a great gift too.

I thought I was ordering sweet hot pepper lollipops which I love. Instead, these are sour, salty pickle tasting pops. They would make a great joke to pull on someone, like me who thought it would be sweet, to see their reaction. Otherwise, I wasted my money on these because I can't stand the taste. So if you like a very salty/sour taste in a lollipop you will love these. I can't imagine the sodium overdose you would have and the effects if you managed to consume one of these pops. You would probably be thirsty for a long time and need to flush out the overload of sodium before your blood pressure went up. Good luck if you manage to consume the whole pop.

Chile is intense in the beginning, a little too much. But the mango candy is the best candy ive tasted.

I saw quiet abit of high reviews, I had my hopes high up. It's not great at all honest review, there are definitely plenty of other candy out there.
