1/4 Ton US Willys Army Jeep Top Down 1/18 by Welly 18036 by Willys Jeep

Model came mounted on a plaque, which is removable with a phillips screwdriver; body is die-cast, other parts are plastic, so you have to be careful when handling; hood lifts up revealing detailed engine inside; nicely detailed chassis; windshield folds down; front wheels turn left/right; I would not recommend using this for a toy as plastic parts ( i.e. steering wheel, gear shift, mounted shovel, etc ) could easily break. But I got this as a decorative to compliment my military book collection and am completely satisfied with this product.

Great model for Welly, since I own a couple more Welly's and they are not that detailed as this Jeep is. The only think is that I expected the shovels to be removed but they are attached to the car and can't be removed. The rest of the Jeep is pretty and for a scale model collector, is an iconic car that you need to have on your shelve!

The jeep I thought would be a combination of metal and plastic like my diecast cars.But it seemed to me like there is more plastic than metal.Small parts of the jeep break easily.I won't be buying another jeep.I'll stick with diecast cars.

Now a days it is getting more and more difficult to get a die cast models of JEEP, this is an excellent replica

Great model, very realistic and detailed. Bad thing is its not metal, all parts are plastic, but well made. Overall, very good.

Shame on me for ordering the same jeep I ordered before, identical. It is not,I repeat not 1:18 scale. The plastic display should not count as measured product.I blame myself. Oh well we all learn.nice jeep though.
