Q: what is the difference between the 1.1 stub and the other sizes of nibs?

Regular fine, medium or broad nibs have rounded top and is used for regular writing. A stub nib has tipping material that's ground flat on the end. Produces a narrow line on the cross stroke, broad on the down stroke. Mimics calligraphy. Stub nibs are different than flex nibs, which require pressure to change the line width. I recommend fine nib for Twbi for everyday writing and sketches.

Q: Can I install a fine nib to replace the medium on this pen?

Replacement nibs are available by various companies. Twsbi no longer offers them on their website but I know that they can be changed. The nib is friction fit.

Q: Does this come with ink?

Does not come with ink. It has awesome ability to suck up ink from bottle by twisting the end opposite the nib. Love this pen.

i can't get it to fill up with ink....I am pushing it down and it springs back up with a tiny amount of ink...can anyone help???
