Initial Impression WOW!
Pro: I wanted to get a pair of ear buds while I code. I usually use "Over the Ear" headphones, but after several hours of use, my ears start to hurt or num and during the a summer they just get a bit uncomfortable and hot. so I decided to try these ear buds. For $16.99 w/prime I figure it wasn't much of a gamble and if I didn't like them I'll give them to my daughter who seem to lose earbuds on a monthly basis. after quick shipment by Amazon, I received these in the mail and my first initial impression is Wow! I'm by far from a true audiophile so take my review with a grain of salt, but after you factor in the cost of these, it's well worth the purchase. Not only is the Bass really "Deep" when listening to EDM/Dubstep. the high's and mid's with fairly clear bass when listening to Jazz classics from the likes of Grover Washington or a nice blend for deep and clarity while jamming to Nas' hip hop classic Illmatic is very statisfying. Whats surprising is they sounds as good as some popular earbud's and one of the best value i've found so far. and the size is pretty compact. I'm not sure where all the sound comes from. It doesn't replace the sound quality compared to a nice pair of Over the Ear Headphones, but these are acceptable alternatives so far. Bonus, it even comes with a very nice case for the earbuds and the extra tips.Build: has a very nice weight to them even for the very slim and compact design of the outer case. the wire has a very cool brown translucent silicon cover.Comfort: the stock silicon/rubber tips was a perfect fit for me and it does a great job of isolating exterior sound. Also the center core of the rubber tips seems to be made of firmer rubber or silicon which fits really snug to the metal casing and helps prevents the tip from mysteriously disappearing.Con: I wish these were offered with iOS/mobile device compatible controller, but I gave these 5 stars because I knew these were for earbuds only. .

Dont Let The Choppy English in the Description fool you...
:: EDIT/UPDATE ::RIP Headphones. I had to order new ones today (June 15th, 2016). Not sure what happened, but the right earbud stopped producing sound randomly. And I man randomly; I was listening, paused the music to talk to someone, hit play, and only the left one was working. I adjusted the wire, moved the plug around, tried to find a short, but nothing worked. That being said, 7 months of use is decent for the price I paid considering these earbuds were used each and every weekday for several hours a day (these were my 'focus-at-work' earphones). I ordered a pair of the $11 ones this time, they have a button inline for calls/pause & play. I hope they are as good, but either way I'm going to keep buying these as long as they're available.--ORIGINAL BELOW--To get down to the overall sum of this review; these are the greatest earphones I have ever purchased. If I've said that on any other Earphone/Headphone review, I would like to take it back and apply it to these. The sound that comes out of these things is crystal clear and absolutely amazing!I bought these earphones with absolutely no expectations. Before these I had been using the Samsung ones that came with my phone. I loved them, but they were starting get that "used Earphone" look and feel about them. I found the $10 ones by JeeCoo, but decided to buy the $16 ones. I'm more than happy that I did and would like to say, if you're considering these or the cheaper ones, GO WITH THESE!::::Pros::::-Solid Design-Cable is nice and thick. It won't be breaking anytime soon.-sound is AMAZING-They fit Well and come with different sized tips (of course)-In Line Microphone::::Cons::::-I love the thickness of the wire, but I hate the feeling. I don't know how to describe it, but It's not enough to take it to 4-Color choice of... Silver with a brown cable. It may be superficial, but I like color in my earphones-Can I ask what Toothless sound is? The Description needs some work.Overall, 5/5. Nothing that's a con is enough to knock it down at all. I can deal with an ugly wire that feels weird so long as the sound stays as amazing as it is.

Hear This!
I know that listening is an individual thing. What you hear, I don't and I hear things you don't. I'm not an audiophile, but I am picky when it comes to listening to music. I've used these ED9 HIFI buds right out of the pack with a Fiio X1 DAC and IPhone 5. I can tell you for certain that these ear buds sound better with the IPhone. Listening to Alberta Hunter's Always, String Bass, nice tight unobtrusive, Horns Alto Sax, true, High Hat, true, not too hot, Muted Trumpet, you can hear the lips of the player in the note, kinda rare, Bass Drum is tight and the piano clear. Alberta's voice is well centered with a great soundstage her throaty voice is clear and well represented throughout her vocal range.Changing to Black Eye Peas Boom Boom Pow, tickled my midbrain, the bass was spot on, the vocal stage open, high hat a little too hot for my taste, sonically well represented across the audible spectrum. Again I have to mention that the bas is well represented, but not jarring your ears.Grahm Parson, Love Hurts,. Acoustic Guitar has good resonance with Grahm's voice clear and pure. Emy Lou's back up vocals well represented with the tremolo and breath fullness clearly noted in her performance. So what can I say about a set of earbuds that cost $17.00, For everyday use and budget minded listening, buy them. You can do better, but you'll pay more. I have payed more for less.
