Very helpful with babies
We purchased these for our 6 month old to practice using a straw with water. He figured it out right away! It was super easy to use & nice to have the cleaning tools. We didn’t have any issues with leaking, but we also kept upright mainly. Very cute. We disposed of after a while as it can be difficult to clean the upper portion, but we got our use out of them!

Good for OT
I bought these honey bear drinking cups for my autistic toddler to help him slowly learn how to use a straw. He's still struggling with using a straw but he will let me please the water into his mouth, I think it's helped him to slowly adapt because before he would only drink out of the Dr Brown bottle with me holding the bottle and now he is starting to drink out of other containers such as a sports water bottle so he is slowly improving. I highly recommend this particular brand it is a little on the pricey side but honestly all of these honey bear cups are expensive, I really like this one because it has a bunch of straws that come with it and it has the cleaning supplies because these things are kind of hard to clean so it's nice that it comes with the tiny brushes to clean out the straws. I highly recommend this it is a good product for your autistic child and honestly my daughter uses it as well she likes drinking out of it cuz she thinks that the Bears are cute lol.

They work!
So my son started refusing a bottle! He is breastfed but also took bottles. All of a sudden he wanted nothing to do with a bottle and I couldn’t get him to drink more than 1oz out of one! I tried so many sippy cups and things but this actually worked! He drank when I squeezed! Now he sucks through the straw on his own! He loves to spit it out though .... but at least he drinks! He drinks 3-4 oz each time I give this! I have given him water and pear juice mixed or just water. Also milk 2 times but he like to make a mess so I try to give mostly water in this.I do have some cons though:-black nose/eyes have rubbed off after only a few uses-hard to clean if you don’t do it right away (lots of nooks and crannies)-top isn’t 100% leakproofOverall, the good outweighs the bad! It also came with extra straws! I would definitely purchase these again if I break or lose one

Mixed feelings
I found these for my daughter when she was about seven months old. She was in speech therapy to work on her tongue, cheek and throat muscles. She refused to take a bottle so we decided to immediately skip a few steps and go to straws. She picked up on it quite well. I showed Speech Therapist and she even said she was going to recommend them. They are amazing. They are easy to use. They hold about 8 ounces. They are definitely not spill proof. The eyes and nose can rub off after so many washes. They were easy for her to hold even at that age. The straws will need to be replaced after I’d say six months whereas the Bears still work. The lids are a cheaper plastic and can break. The look definitely makes kids more entice to use them because they are cute. The straws are an absolute pain to clean even with the straw cleaners that are provided.

It works and that's what matters
The wife bought this to train baby to use straw cups. When this arrived, I reacted puzzled as they looked exactly like honey bottles yet costing even more than bottles full of honey. I even sarcastically searched for the price for new "honey bottles" which cost well under $1 each. I told her I was willing to admit being wrong to the internet if they actually help the baby learn straws. And HERE I AM. It may be overpriced for the materials, butbi think the price is justified by the outcome.

Great sippy cup for baby
The Honey Bear Straw Cup from Special Supplies is a game changer for parents of little ones. We've been using it as a sippy cup for my baby, and it's been a total lifesaver. The bear-shaped cup is easy for my little one to hold onto, and the straw is designed to prevent spills and leaks. Plus, it's just so darn cute! The cup is made of high-quality materials and is easy to clean, which is a major plus in my book. If you're looking for a sippy cup that your baby will love and that you'll love using, too, the Honey Bear Straw Cup from Special Supplies is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

There are better cups for autistic kids
I purchased these for my autistic son because his ABA therapy clinic uses them with him during the day. There are a few things that we did not like. My son throws cups, these leak if knocked over. The straws are VERY hard to insert in the cups and they are not easy to clean. And the cups are very thin.

Highly Recommend
I went through 5 different sippy cups (hard/soft spout, straw, regular cups) over the course of 2 months. Finally, after 3 tries with this cup, my 9mo son got the concept. At first I squeezed the bottle to get the milk up in the straw. The first few times, he was still just biting on the straw but then all of a sudden he started sucking. Because it is easy for the milk to come out, there was spillage but that was okay because they key is that he learned to use a straw. After a week of using this cup, I switched him back to a "regular" straw sippy cup with handles, which is harder to use, but now he was fine with it. This was a good "learner" cup. The "regular" ones aee better for daycare because the straws are attached to the tops and thus keep the straw clean. Also, because they are harder to suck through, there is less spillage than these. I'm recommending these bottles to all my friends that are struggling with bottle/cup transition.
