Filter worked great AFTER cleaning sensor. Very happy now😊
Just wanted to let everyone know that after installing this filter it seemed to work fine and then the red lights started flashing and it was beeping again. I thought no way is this happening. I read most of the reviews saying it worked and a couple that said the espring didn't recognize it. I was very upset, but called amway customer service to see if they could help. After 5 minutes, taking it apart and wiping the top of the filter and inside of the black top you screw on the filter, put it back together, and everything is fine again. The customer service rep said sometimes the sensor gets dirty. I never would have thought about that as I always rinse everything, but it literally needed a gentle wipe with a clean napkin and problem solved. Hope this helps anyone who might be experiencing problems with the filter not working.

Unusual noise.
First of all, I have been using the actual unit for last 11 years and have changed about 8-9 filters over these years. I had no problem in past. This time when I change the filter, it's making some unusual noise while getting filtered water. As I said it's unusual, I have never experience this noise in the past filters.I already installed it so removing and retuning doesn't make sense since it's filled with water and things. I already ordered 1 from their website. It's little more money on their site but less hustle.So disappointed.If I experience the same, I will update the review otherwise it's just defective filter and I just throw $200 down the drain.

Bad product. Failed after one month.
Bad replacement filter and bad water purifier. Worked for one month of routine family use (about 10 glasses of water per day) and then failed. Of course this was two days after the amazon return window closed since I waited a month or so to install it. Not quite champagne but certainly the price of restaurant water imported from Finland or so. Oh did I mention we had to replace the included purifier's spigot for $300 in plumbing costs and replacement parts after year one of ownership of this purifier also! I've had the filter for three years and this is my third filter change. Total costs certainly exceed $1 per glass of water. Run with your wallet away from this purifier and filter!

Beware!
Beware! I was blinded by the price. I purchased from antonio7757 and then later realized it was shipped from the Ukraine. This filter seemed like an authentic espring filter but it was made for a different unit in another country and did not fit my espring. It might not have even had the UV lamp. There is a pre-filter, which does come off but there is still a large bolt at the bottom. I didn't want to risk compromising the filter. I returned it.

It ain't cheap but water tastes better
We've been using this water filter system for years and definitely helps get rid of taste that our tap water sometimes has. Only thing is disposing of this filter since it has lead in it, have to dispose of it properly with local town ordinances not just the trash

E-Spring Redesigned the UV Light Water Replacement Filter and Kept the Same Model Number 10-0186
Amway redesigned the E-Spring UV Light Water Purifier and filter but kept the same model number for the UV Light water filter. I was using an old purifier that was purchased maybe ten years ago. I decided it was time to purchase a new purifier. That solved the problem.I only wish that the Park group would have provided customer service instead of responding with a single sentence email indicating that they could not help.

Amway eSpring water filter
It's hard to review a filter because you never know if it is really doing its job.Otherwise, the filter fits for eSpring water filter. I have re-ordered this product 4 or 5 times over a time period of 3 years. Never had a problem yet. Easy to install.

Take the instructions one step at a time and read them carefully
It's more expensive than filters for other systems, but it is only one that fits. The instructions sound complicated and tricky when you read them. But, if you take them step by step, they actually make sense and you can follow them. If this filter system wasn't already in the house when I bought it, I wouldn't have installed it. It's too expensive and complicated.

Der Filter von Amway ist schon eine gute Sache durch Umwelteinflüsse sind paar schartstoffe im Wasser auch Bakterien ich hoffe immer das er sie rausfiltert und abtötet der Ersatz Filter ist auch in Ordnung der alte hatte keinen druck mehr gehabt und war auch sehr verdreckt und etwas sandig ob wohl wir normale Leitungen haben von wassere Versorger haben schmeckte das Wasser nicht. aber das was von Filter direkt kommt schmeckt gut
