This is a very good coffee in the 'older' style Nespresso capsules. The price is excellent and the capsules have worked very well with no problems after using around 30 capsules. I don't understand some of the reviews that reported the coffee tasting bad, maybe there is a batch to batch variability.

I think these are the best of the Nespresso look-alike's, with one exception. Peet's coffee is the same high flavor, good rich crema that Nespresso makes, they are indistinguishable from Nespresso (and priced accordingly). These capsules are plastic, but they are vacuum packed like Nespresso, so you have the very tight stretched bottom piece of foil which assures you get a nice "snap" sound when it starts to pour (and which also assures you that it is a fresh coffee inside). We like the flavor -- not quite as good as Nespresso, but definitely better than the yellow caps from Meseta and other brands of "compatible" coffees. I will always have these on hand for my second/third cups, but I'll stick with Nespresso for coffee #1 in the morning. They have more aroma, more crema, and generally are a bit higher in quality. But at half the price with these, I'm going to load up!

I just got a new espresso machine and was excited to try out my first pods! I love these because they are directly from Italy! The flavor is robust but not super bitter like some espresso can be. I've found myself feeling more awake drinking it each morning for the past few days. I wish the box told exactly how much caffeine is in each pod though. Also be warned that they come in 5 boxes of 10 pods each, not one box of 50.

This product has good crema, some (but not a lot) of aroma and ok taste. The coffee pods are affordable (compared to almost double the price for original nespresso pods) and better tasting than standard drip coffee or the watered down tasting keurig cups. However, my expectations were set high when the product info. stated it was the "best Nespresso compatible coffee on the market": I assure you it does not come close to the richness of the Nespresso flavor or aroma. So maybe set your expectations to a more realistic place: This coffee flavor is decent, but not comparable to nespresso. I would purchase this product again and use as backup (for my beloved but pricey nespresso pods) for when i want a second cup of espresso or run out of my original pods or simply want to save some money for the month and cant indulge with the better tasting original. Bottom line; you can still get a decent cappuccino from this product, but wont get the rich indulgent experience that you get when drinking the original.

Not fresh.Almost two years old.Taste old!Don't buy!!

Update 2: I've received replacement red capsules. Same problem as before unfortunately. Machine cannot puncture any capsule, something is wrong with manufacturing, because my other capsules (both plastic and metal ones) work fine. Expiration date is Nov 2019, around 6 months from today, which is not very good. Seller refunded the purchase, so I keep 2 stars for great support.Update 1: Raising to 2 stars for excellent support promising to replace pods. Will update again after receiving and testing new ones.Original post: Tried 5 pods, only one really worked. Aluminum foil is loose, so machine cannot puncture it. I have pods from other vendors that work fine, it is this particular one. Even for one that worked, the water flow is very slow, about half of normal.

Let me first start by stating that i do not many product reviews. I recently got a nespresso machine. And as a good purchaser i wanted to find a more inexpensive alternative to the name brand. I drink nespresso twice a day at work.After omg about 3 days of reading online to a lot of reviews on nespresso alternatives i settle for this and other 2 brands.I tried the other 2 , and then i said omg this is what happenes for me being cheap. Then I tried this one. Only issue is that it is not sealed as the name brand so you have to move around to make it fit.But when the coffee came out i loved it.Do yourself a favor just try it and stop reading reviews you will thank me.

These pods brew a decent espresso or lungo, but not exceptional. The coffee is smooth - no acidity and good body, not aromatic. The water flow through the pods is OK. I need a more robust and complex flavor; but, if you are not into knock-you-off-the-stool brew, this may be a good choice.
