I started with a much less expensive unit that was made in China. The plastic drive shaft and auger failed on the first use. I sent it back immediately. I purchased this machine at nearly 3X the price. It is well made and works as advertised. It can go through a VERY LARGE bowl of tomatoes in about 5 minutes. I do recommend cutting the tomatoes into smaller pieces. One can force large tomatoes in with the plunger.... but why do that? If you cut them a bit smaller the machine eats them right up. The only three things that are disappointing are the price, the fact that one cannot purchase such a machine that is USA made, and it will only work on tomatoes. I tried blackberries........total fail. They will not go through. Something about the seed size causes a huge issue with the auger. It is easy to wash when finished. I can disassemble the machine and wash it all in less than 10 minutes. Some of the seeds and skin do to get stuck in the screen. After washing I take it to the garage and blow all the stuck pieces out with compressed air. If you don't have compressed air, clean-up of the screen will be a LITTLE tougher. I would recommend this machine to anyone. It works great on tomatoes (only).

This machine is a beast. Probably way more than the average person who cans 100 qts. of juice once a year really needs but, what the heck. If you want to make V8, make sure other veggies are either cooked or pureed. Raw tomatoes are no problem but with peppers,onions, and the like mixed in, even chopped, I have plugged the screw and stalled the motor

This has to be one of the most valuable pieces in my kitchen during processing season! It separates the seeds and skins and then purees pulp from every product instantly. Easy to clean but does require some strength to unscrew the lock on the funnel. Everything is stainless including the auger.

When I first got my machine it work great but after one usage I noticed grease coming from the machine. I called the seller and he said not to worry it should stop? Really? After about 40 hours of usage it kept blowing my GFI, Ground Fault, After several attempts of trying to contact the manufacturer I attempted to fix it myself and started to take it apart. After a few loosened screws greasy juice flowed out of the motor. What a mess. What really pisses me off is the total lack of support. They won't sell me the motor assm as listed on the website, its not longer available and I have to order a whole new system. Arrivederci Fabio Leonardo
