Changing the filter is very difficult. The arrow that shows open or locked is difficult to see, and the head is extremely tough to turn. It's always tough and I need help every time I have to change the filter.

This has been a welcome improvement for my rented apartment with the hardest water that used to stain my shower orange with iron. Sulfur water, well water with iron and who knows what - the stuff you don’t drink or cook with... After having used this, my hair and skin look and feel healthier. Before this I was getting blasted in one stream by the cheapo shower head that came with the place so I’m glad another tenant here recommended purchasing this exact product. I am NOT disappointed after a couple months of use and waited to review, although I immediately loved it. It does decrease the water pressure a bit but this is really, really hard water here - so running through a filter and being evenly distributed through a nice big shower head that looks so nice for the price - it’s not even a huge pressure difference & definitely worth it. It was easy to install, coming from someone who’s never installed anything. Instructions weren’t much help (you’ll see if you buy it and fear installing- you actually can) but a quick YouTube vid made it simple. I stick with the “waterfall“ setting for my regular shower but the other settings are good too. The hose is perfect length, not flimsy at all, so it hangs nicely and the detachable shower head is great. Definitely saves me a lot of scrubbing when I’m cleaning my bathroom - the shower no longer gets that orange tint in the corners thanks to the filter. Love it. I have no idea why Amazon is asking me to rate this thing on “sheerness.“ But yes, my water comes out sheer finally LOL.

Most filters raise our shower go where we are standing on the other side to be under the water.This doesn’t cause that issue.However, even with the flow restriction removed this shower head is beyond low flow.We’ve went through so many filtered shower heads that for now just tolerating this one until I feel like searching again.

My original review: "THIS PRODUCT SUCKS. First, the product leaked at the head, so I bought Teflon tape to improve the seal, and lost a week because I was traveling. Then, I fixed the leak - and the head is too heavy to be supported by the ball joint!! The shower head just droops down as soon as I connect it!!! And because of the delayed installation while I got the Teflon tape, I missed the return window to send this turd product back!"My update: After contacting the company directly, and getting instructions on how to address the various issues, the company sent me a new product. The new product works exactly as described. My only real criticisms are 1) the first product clearly shouldn't have been sent out, as it was defective and 2) I still have problems getting the base of the shower head to stay in its showerhead mount without pushing and twisting it down very firmly.

I am a pretty tough reviewer, and am terribly honest about the products I use, so I don't say this lightly: this shower head is worth every penny, and they could probably get away with charging more. I am super fussy, and have tried tons of shower heads over the years, and basically gave up on ever having the fancy hotel shower experience at home. This shower head is heavy, and powerful. With the filter, it's great, and I exit my shower without flaming red eyes (there's a drought in my area, and chlorine levels are very high); the filter does a great job of getting the chlorine out, and making my skin soft and my eyes soothed. Without the filter (and using a hack that I learned online, but won't endorse here, despite how amazing it is), the water pressure from this shower head is off the charts! It is soothing, and massaging, with very very very high pressure. Have you ever seen that Seinfeld episode where Kramer's shower head basically works like an elephant hose? That's this shower head without the filter. I LOVE IT. Also, since there are so many reviewers on amazon who receive discounts or free products for reviews (particularly for crappy shower heads), I want to make it clear that I received nothing for this review, and probably never will. I hesitated (I'm a cheapskate), but paid full price for this product, which was double the cost of most shower heads, and I do not regret it one bit. If you're hesitant, and think you'll get a better deal for the quality, I doubt it.

This is my 4th time buying a Sprite filtered shower head and normally it works perfectly fine. However, upon installation it immediately began leaking and when i inspected it I realized that the knob to choose different settings is not flush with the shower head causing it to leak! I pushed it in a bit and it seems to have fixed the issue but I know that it’s only temporary and will leak once again if I change the stream setting. Also because it leaks it messes with the water pressure and these shower heads normally have amazing water pressure.Other than that it works perfectly fine and I can immediately feel the difference in the water.

This shower head installs in a few twists of a wrench. Once installed the settings available are amazing!!! There is a massage setting that will tease and please all your sore and not sore parts! It will make relaxing in the shower a breeze and you will realize your water bill goes up due to the increased shower time, but it is totally worth it! The best shower head for the money!

It's a pretty good hand held but it is heavy. You can take the filter out to lighten it a little if you already filter your incoming water. The manufacturer tells me taking the filter out will make it leak around the handle because the handle is not watertight but this hasn't been my experience. Your mileage may vary.All in all it's one of the best hand helds I've ever had and I've had a bunch. One thing I wish you could get for it is a separate wall mount holder made specifically to fit. Most I've tried do not securely hold this one very well.

Successfully softened water. My hair and skin doesn’t feel as dry as before. Shower head has a few setting, which is nice. Seems to be more water-saving. Shower head is a bit heavy.

I have a total dissolved solid meter reader and I tested my water right out of the tap and it measured 54 PPM and then I tested the water right from the filtered water and it read the same. Absolutely no difference AT ALL. The part where the hose attaches to the base of the shower head gushes water also. This happened about 1 year in. I have never had a shower head only last 1 year. I won't be buying this product again.

Delivery was extremely prompt and item has nice chrome finishing. But water pressure is disappointingly weak.
