Rugged
This is the second one of these that I bought and I mean that as a compliment. My first case survived a teething baby boy whose favourite toy was of course my phone and of course me constantly dropping my phone. The case was still waterproof and intact when I chose to change it out- for purely cosmetic purposes

They Fixed the "oily" look problem!!
So...at first the Lifeproof cases for the Iphone 11 had an oily look on the screen when the back light was off. Even when the light was on you could see it at the right angle. So, IT WAS NOT OIL, it was just a bad fit and the spots where the screen touched contrasted with the ones that did not. I still love the cases and purchased them. This latest set I bought, no longer exhibits the problem! I'm very happy with it. Good job lifeproof!Otherwise, some things to think about. If you are too rough on the case the water proof feature will stop working. I'm very rough on it. What doesn't stop working is the amazing protection. I literally drop my phone from a truck, on to gravel and asphalt, multiple times a week and the phone is like new still. It's pretty impressive.

Kept my phone pristine throughout Burning Man
If you know anything about Burning Man, you'll know that the dust in the Black Rock Desert gets EVERYWHERE. Everything you take will get covered in dust, and since it's very alkaline it has a tendency to destroy electronics. Well, I knew I couldn't afford to *not* bring my phone, for various reasons. So I turned to this. Boy, this thing is awesome. It's a bit tough to get on at first, but not too bad. I would not trust it if it went on easily. Once on, your phone is SEALED. My phone worked perfectly throughout the event, and upon taking it out of the case at home, it was untouched by the dust. I am using this as my daily driver now. It has such a slim profile, even compared to the Otterbox commuter series. Highly recommend.

Good product but beware, you might get a defect.
I've used LifeProof cases ever since I got the iPhone 6 because I believe in their products and reliability.Overall, I am rating this 4-stars because of the bubbles experienced with the screen protector. That should not happen with a product like this, especially for the price we are paying. I was originally going to give it a 3-star ratine, but I'll explain why I gave it 4-stars.The product is still very durable and reliable. It's relatively lean and doesn't add much to the volume or feel of the phone. There is somewhat of an audio issue because of the way this case is designed, but 98% of the time I'm using AirPods to make/take calls and to listen to music anyway so the sound is a non-issue for me.The bubbles: I tried cleaning my phone screen multiple times. I tried cleaning the inside of the screen protector multiple times. I saw online that some people fixed this issue by installing a separate screen protector on the phone, but I thought that would be too redundant. I also saw a recommendation to add a light layer of powder to the screen, but that seemed counterintuitive.I ended up contacting the LifeProof Warranty department via their website. I submitted what was wrong with the product (the bubbles) and other requested information. They responded to me via email within 48 hours and sent me a brand new case for free. I installed my phone in the new case and I do not have any more bubbles on the screen protector. The good service and positive experience of the Warranty and Support department is the reason I rated this 4-stars and not 3.If you are purchasing this item, you might get lucky and not have bubbles the first go around. But if you do experience any bubbles or if there's a discrepancy on any other part of the product, the LifeProof Support/Warranty department should be your first stop.

Disappointed Long time Life Proof advocate
I bought the case, I got water on the outside of the camera lense part and it basically ruined it. I Carefully wiped it clean and it just scratched the surface of the cases lense even with minimal friction. Amazon was great, they sent out a replacement immediately. The 2nd case- I rarely used the plug-in part to charge my phone, I bought the magnet chargers just to avoid using that flimsy flap that looked like it would break. Of course, it snapped off after about 5 uses in 2 weeks. Truly a disappointment in design. The other design was never a problem. I did snap off the headphone part on the old cases, and that is exactly what this design is like.Why. Would. You. Change?!??Additionally, I was careful not to get water on the camera lense of the case and because of that, it lasted a little longer. But.. the minute it got wet and I had to wipe it, it was ruined. I live on a lagoon, I boat pretty much every day, and it rains in NJ... so avoiding water is not possible for me. That is why I have this case on all of my previous iPhones. They look brand new when I take the case off. I have no idea what I should go with now... but Lifeproof... I am deeply saddened and disappointed. Get away from Otter box... or go back to what you used before on the camera lense and the charging port cover!!!The touch screen works fine, and I did have that rainbow thing floating around, but it didn’t bother me. If you don’t care about taking pictures, or you don’t get it wet, then I’m sure the case would work. It is flawless in protecting the phone. The pics I took yesterday, 8/16/2020.. sorry they are at a Brewery, and NO, my pup did NOT have any of that brew. Just a pic with the can. But, you can see when zoomed out, there is a haze that will just get worse as time goes on (I know from my first case) and the haze is gone under normal zoom. This is because the scratches are only on part of the lense cover for now.Hope this helps. I am a loyal fan of lifeproof, and I’ve NEVER owned any other case besides the Fre... starting with my iPhone 5, and 6s, and now I am forced to look elsewhere for my iPhone 11 Pro.
