Used this while relocating fish in temporary tank. Quite with good air flow

If the Check valve is not working, it just needs a lil poke. Use one of these plastic straps and poke it in the direction of the Arrow. Dont have to try very hard, goes in very smoothly.

Does what it says very well, but if running at full flow it's quite noisy, easy to set up and comes with all you need . Hose length supplied was just enough, some may need longer than the metre. Only had it a week but can't fault it so far.

Pump was delivered earlier than advised and set-up quickly & easily following the instructions provided. At first (after soaking the airstone provided for a couple of hours) the pump provided a reasonable output at full speed. This reduced to zero bubbles from mid-point and below on the output switch. At first (after a bit of research) the supplied airstone was suspected. So, after replacement, I was hoping that I would see an improvement. Not to be, and to be honest, it was probably worse. Much scratching of head and partway arranging a return, I checked the performance of the non-return valve. This turned out to be the culprit and on removing it the difference is so much improved that it will run a 20cm airstone without issue. So now for the search for a reliable non-return valve.

This is a good product, but it is quite noisy due to the vibrations. I tried putting a mat underneath to absorb some of the vibrations and it helps a little. Overall, for the price, it is great.

I’m updating this review. I previously wrote that this pump is very noisy. I ordered three different ones in the meantime and realised that actually this one is quite ok! I’m just going to order another one like this because it’s the best one I’ve tried by far. Adjustable to different levels and has been working fine for two months.
