A great value at a very fair price
All things considered this is a very functional Matcha bowl at a reasonable price. I realize that a Matcha bowl created by a recognized artist is valued in the Japanese culture and probably worth the cost, but for a simple person, such as myself, this bowl does the job perfectly.

Great purchase
Really like this bowl. Came in outstanding packaging suitable for a gift. Looks and feels great. Good size for reasonable portion of tea. Also cool serving dish for rice or similar food. Overall great authentic purchase.

Bought it for a tea lover
Got it for my best friend for her birthday. She’s an avid tea drinker and loves it. Very well crafted. Comes in very nice sturdy box that was very nice for a present.

Absolutely beautiful
So, the only reason I had to give it 4 stars is due to pouring being very difficult without spilling. Otherwise, the bowl is beautiful and does a great job. I get many compliments.

Traditional quality for a low price!
I used to work at higher-end tea shop (with international locations), that specializes in high-quality tea wares, many of which included hand-crafted matcha bowls imported from Japan (which sold from $45-$100+ each). This looks almost exactly the same and functions just as well. Not sure why people would pay that high price for those other matcha bowls when this one is just as great, for a fraction of the price.

It's okay
It's okay. It's good quality but if you want to use it to pour matcha it's a mess. My biggest upset is the pattern, I understand they are all unique but the ceramic coating appears iridescent and I was really disappointed it's matte and mainly beige. If I had known I would have bought a more practical option over the esthetics of it. I'll keep it because I used it and it's okay but I wouldn't have bought it if I saw it in person.

Beautiful
I gave this as a gift to my pottery loving sister. She uses it for food. It’s the perfect serving size, very beautiful and original.
