Very nice rich sound. Ample volume as well as control of treble and bass levels. The remote control functions well to control volume, bass, treble, source, pause, play, and forward/reverse. I've primarily used with docking the iPhone 5s. TIP: If you have a protective cover on the iPhone, this must be removed for a successful connection with the speaker dock. This system provides a sound quality that is comparable to that of friends who own Bose systems, yet the XtremeMac is far less expensive. I've had this item for a few months, using in it daily, and I've not encountered any reliability issues.

Bought this refurbished. Power button didn't work. Lightning port died within a month. Remote DOA. Sound was better than Bose and Beats but still not great. Returned for a refund. Wish it was better built.

It worked pretty well for 11 months. It was quirky in that getting it to pair through Bluetooth was inconsistent. It often required some extra time to get it to work but it always did. Until about a month ago. Now, it won't pair with Bluetooth at all. I contacted Xtrememac to ask about a warranty and they sent me a form response saying to take it to the store I bought it from for repairs. If you are willing to just always plug it in then the speakers themselves are nice. Good sound quality. But I bought it for the Bluetooth and that no longer works.

Adequate. Good sound but doesn't always connect when I place phone on connector. I have to power it off and on again for it to connect.Bluetooth is acceptable... Decent range. Does not work as a call center as described by some users.

Great sound, compact size and takes multiple input sources particularly iPhone 5 and up devices (lightning adapter) and looks good. My only beef is that the lightning connector does not protrude very far so if you phone has a case on it you won't make a solid connection. Shucking the case makes for a less than optimal experience. Need to add an extender to allow more clearance to make a good connection. Besides that it is a good deal.Charging convenience is big factor, but getting a good sound experience is where this unit shines. In a very compact enclosure, you get a very good range of sound. Highs are relatively crisp and mid range if quite good for this size unit and price point. Bass is fair, but considering the cost/size of unit it is very good.Sources are bluetooth, standard aux port (headphone jack) and the lightning connector. My wife and daughter each like docking their phones as they fill the room with a great sound experience.

AWESOME ............. i am an extreme audiophile for the price it holds its ownPros: Great sound , Heavy ( Does not fell breakable very solid) , Bluetooth is easy to setup and doesn't "muffle" sound at allCons: Dock isn't sturdy iphone 5c kinda sets up right doesn't rest against back wall at all , No mid level adjustments.Over all i must say compared to alot of the more expensive brands ( Beats , Jbl , Apple , Harmon ,etc ) this device holds its own with its wide range of TRUE HI-FI SOUND THIS LITTLE DOCK IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS

This product did not even come close to delivering what the description promised. It cannot charge a Iphone 5S if it is in a case (and who doesn't keep their phone in a case?) and at various times the dock, the remote, and the bluetooth did not work. After 4 attempts, we were only able to get the bluetooth to work correctly once. Can't say much about the sound quality, because the thing never worked long enough to hear how things sounded. We gave up when the remote stopped working as we were trying to figure out how to remedy the other issues. DO NOT BUY.

I had the previous version (Tango TRX) and loved it. I upgraded to an iPhone with the Lightning port and didn't want to use an adapter on the dock so I found what I thought would be the perfect solution - not so much. I use this in an office environment so I keep the volume low most of the time. This speaker dock had a hiss at lower volumes I could barely hear the music, but was fine at louder volumes. I am returning this and will explore alternatives.
